Kerry came home Saturday evening, and she had a brilliant time. There is washing drying everywhere at the moment It should be dry later on, so then I'll be tackling the ironing

Robin, I hope you enjoyed settling Alex into his new home

Betsy, I saw on FB that you were home, I hope you had a fantastic time, and I look forward to seeing some of your photos

Hello...

I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile...
I have been popping on and off my laptop, in between getting home from the trip, getting back into work stuff, and planning for our big Easter party...
It's been a little crazy

The trip was a lot of fun...BUT really quite cool...so it was pants and sweatshirts..
We have friends that were going at the same time ...so we spent most of our time with them..They have a boy a little older then David ..so it turned out well.

David did TOT 3 times!...This is a big deal as his older DBs would NOT, when we took them a couple of years ago....LOL Mikey tried, but didn't make it..got scared, so he and Mike took an exit out, by the elevators....So David LOVED telling them what a fun ride it was, and that it was a piece of cake!...LOL

On our last day (seeing as David was not up to par), we went on a horse drawn carriage ride along the river...It was very nice.
We saw an otter swimming down river! The driver said it was only the 2nd time she has seen one in the 17 years she has been driving there. Of course by the time I grabbed my camera it was gone.

I will try to post pics of our fun ASAP.

Good Morning Dancing Queens

Don't you just love it when Thursday is the last day of the working week Are you doing anything nice over the Easter weekend ?

Kerry is off to an amusement park today and staying overnight at a hotel for her friends birthday. Tomorrow Paul & I are going to Birmingham for a bit of shopping, a nice meal and hopefully a cocktail or two then staying overnight too - I'm really looking forward to it

The weather here is absolutely wonderful

It's looking like it will stay that way for quite a few days to come.

I'm really enjoying it while it lasts.

We have no big plans for the weekend.

With the nice weather Rick will be doing airplane stuff and I don't know what I will do?

Liz will be home at some point tomorrow but I don't know for how long.

So I will take things as they come and enjoy the weekend as much as I can.

Mandy, sounds like you and your family have some fun plans for the weekend.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend, we did. Paul & I really enjoyed our day away, and we had a lovely meal

What did you all get up to over Easter ? We all ate far too much chocolate and it probably put my diet back a few weeks

I am so pleased that most of the Easter goodies have gone now, and I'll be glad when the girls are back at college next week so I can get back to doing some exercise and eating a bit healthier

Are you doing anything nice this weekend ? We haven't got any plans, so no doubt we'll be vegging in front of the TV watching Lost and 24

Today my mother and I took a drive to see Liz and we went out to lunch at the chinese buffet. Then we went to the slot machines where I walked away $106.00 richer I had been up quite a bit higher but I put some back so the machine wouldn't feel so bad

I have good news and bad news....

The good is I am now getting more hrs. at work...Enough to get health care now!

The bad...I have even less time to Dis.

It has gotten to be beautiful here...the trees all blooming and the flowers too!...

Our Easter was great!...Had a lot of fun!
Other then that is has been work, work, WORK!
Brittany came with me last Sat. and job shadowed Dr. Siefert. She liked it and is thinking of going to school for vet tech.

Well that's my life in a nut shell...

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful weather day.

It was over 80 degrees here. I was loving it.

I got my new garage door opener all installed and ready to go.

Went to tap class after that.

Went to lunch with Rick at Wendy's.

Purchased myself a nice adirondack style wooden glider rocker for my deck

Sat in it a lot and enjoyed the newness of it.

Messed around with my fish pond a bit.

All in all a pretty good day.

Now to see what today will bring.

I am home alone until tomorrow night because Rick is off to Indiana for some airplane thing.

My mom, Liz and I are going on a road trip tomorrow but today I have no plans yet other than to hit the shower.

So there you have all the details of my incredibly exciting life

I hope everyone else has a life that is just so full of rich and rewarding experiences

Robin ~ I'm so jealous that you have had such lovely weather. Last Saturday we had a lovely day (mid 70's), but that didn't last long. Where are you off to on your road trip ? Have fun whatever you get up to

Betsy ~ It sounds like you are still enjoying your job, and the Spring too

Kelly ~ I hope all is well with your family

I'm so pleased that it's Friday, though this week has flown by. We haven't got any plans for this weekend, so no doubt there will be lots of chilling and catching up with Lost tonight and 24 on Sunday

That nice 80 degree day was just a teaser unfortunately.

We have been having nice days, in the upper 50's, lower 60's and we are going back to that again.

I enjoyed the hot weather while I had it though.

We are travelling to a city about 2 1/2 hours away. There is a place called Dundurn Castle there.

It is not really a castle but more just a large mansion on the lake.

They have tours of the house given by people dressed in period costume.

We went once when the children were younger and enjoyed it.

My mom has never been and I've always been meaning to take her, so tomorrow will be the day.

Robin - How did your trip to Dundurn Castle go ? Did you have a good time ?

We had a quiet weekend, though we didn't mind as we are really looking forward to this weekend, as we're heading to Wales for a 40th birthday weekend away, it should be great fun

We enjoyed our visit to Dundurn Castle.

Our tour guide was the "butler" and he did a fantastic job keeping in character.

There were two little girls in our group, about 5 and 8 years old and he was really good with them.

Another weekend away, Mandy. You are a very lucky traveller. You do a ton of weekends away.

That's great. Enjoy it and get all that you can out of life.

I don't have plans for the weekend yet but it looks like we can be expecting rain

Yay, it's nearly the weekend !!

We've got a fun weekend ahead of us, there's about 13 DISers heading to Wales for our friends 40th birthday. We're staying in two huge caravans, and we're having a Margaritaville evening tomorrow night. It sounds like it's going to be a great laugh, so I'll make sure that I take lots of photos

We have sunshine a plenty but not much warmth today.

It is always majorly windy which makes it feel even worse.

Hey Robin, we had a great weekend, it was so much fun (glad you saw the photos on FB, it saves me posting them on here too )

We've got a long weekend here this coming weekend, as Monday is May Day (the first Monday in May), so it's a Bank Holiday. Paul & I may head up to Manchester for the night and hits the shops and go to our fave Chinese restaurant

Did you do anything nice over the weekend ?

It's nice and warm here today, though the weather is supposed to be cooling down by the weekend
