I've missed you all! Since work was busy, I've tried logging on at home... can't figure out why the website won't load at home but it will here.

Robin, I am so sorry to hear everything you & your family have been through over the past couple of days... but I am very glad to hear that your dad has been doing much better! Please wish Liz a Happy Belated Birthday! Hope she had a wonderful birthday!

Mandy, Getting excited about your August cruise yet??? We are getting ready to start planning our Jan 2011 cruise soon (but not soon enough)! Sending some pd to Becky for exam time... bless her heart! Hope she's making out ok!

Betsy, aw!! Julia looked beautiful! Thanks for sharing your pics! So, did your fav star win DWTS? I was rooting for Melissa, I love her personality and hated seeing how she was treated on The Bachelor... still can't believe ABC thought that was good for ratings.

Oh I forgot to tell you all...

I aged horribly overnight as Chad has his drivers license now. CW drove his truck to the school board's office where they issue it (it's a 90 day temp) and we followed him home watching his driving behavior for the first time on his own.

Then he left the house around 6:15 pm to head to a friend's house to watch movies for the night, he arrived home safely and before 9:30. Today, I received a phone call at work... he'll be working at a local country club. Not sure what his title is, I would mainly call him a caddie. He has to help load golf clubs in carts, clean in house golf clubs and balls. Basically anything they need him to do for the golf side of the country club. He's really excited!

Btw... little Colby is snoring under my desk with his tongue hanging out... had to share a pic with ya.

I actually came down to the computer to pick up my camera because Duster is also snoozing very cutely in her kitty bed

I know how you feel when the kids start to drive. It is a bit scary isn't it.

Congratulations to Chad on his summer job.

Liz got herself a summer job at the camp she worked at last summer. Starting June 21 this house will be totally child free.

Alex moves out this weekend to his new home.

Yes we are very excited about our holiday and cruise, though we have just found out that Kerry doesn't want to come away with us this Summer, so it will be a very different holiday too How exciting for you to be planning your 2011 Cruise ~ I wonder if the new ship will be sailing then for you

Robin ~ I'm so pleased that your dad has made a good recovery

Betsy ~ Are you working much this weekend ?

So girls, what have you got planned for the weekend ? The girls have got a week off college/school, so it will be nice not having to wash school uniforms and yell at them to get up Today, me and Paul are going to Birmingham for a meal and to stay overnight, so we're looking forward to that

Officially I am camping this weekend but I'm home at my computer right now

We are staying out at the local airplane club field but Alex is moving out this weekend so I came home to "encourage" as much stuff into his car as I possibly can

Mandy, how sad that Kerry doesn't want to go with you.

What reason did she give you?

Liz just turned 22 last week and she'd go with us everytime if she could and if we would foot the bill

We are planning on getting onto the new ship when it comes out. Looking forward to seeing it very much. I think we will wait until it's been sailing a few months and they have all the "kinks" worked out before we go though.

Must be something exciting.

I have a dance competition this weekend and also an airplane camping out event.

Dance recitals are being held on June 6, so lots of extra dance practices to make sure that we are all ready.

I hope you've all had a great weekend. It's been a long weekend here, and we had a bank holiday yesterday, and it's been busy, busy, busy

On Saturday Paul and I went to Birmingham for the night. We went out for a lovely meal and had a great time. Sunday we spent recovering (too much wine I'm afraid ), then yesterday Paul & I went to see Star Trek, which was quite good

Robin ~ I think Kerry will miss her friends too much this year, and that is putting her off from coming - but I'm hoping she'll change her mind over the next day or two, as I'd love her to come with us, but only if she wants to

Betsy & Kelly ~ I hope you had a lovely Memorial Day yesterday, did you do anything nice ?

It's wet, cold and windy here too, it really is horrible. Thankfully it's supposed to be getting warmer by the end of the week

I've been to town, and all I want to do now is to stay in the warm

Kerry and a few of her friends have gone off to a local theme park, they must be mad

The temperature is okay here but right now it's pouring buckets out

I just got finished mowing the lawn in time.

As I was putting the mower away I heard the rumbles of thunder.

We are away this weekend for an airplane thing. We are taking the trailer.

Also on Sunday is my very first dance competition

We are doing a tap and a hip hop number.

Should be interesting, more likely hilarious

The competitive dance kids from our studio are apparently looking forward to having us "oldtimers" at the competition.

I'm sure there will be a lot of hooting and hollering going on

Ahhhh!! Still busy here! One of the girls at work has a sick little one at home. Bless her little heart, she is running high fevers...

We had a very quiet Memorial Day weekend. Chad worked the entire weekend (which he enjoyed) and Carolin spent most of the weekend with her friends... I'm hoping for somemore peace and quiet.

Mandy, is Kerry feeling ill? I will gladly take her place! Does she have bigger plans for the summer?

Robin, good luck on your dance competition! I'll be cheering ya on from home

Good evening DWDQs,

Im sorry to be MIA alot....
between home stuff and work stuff..I dont get to get on my PC as much...

Im trying to get more hrs. at work, as they keep giving me less and less every week..This next week I only have 19 hrs..Im suppose to get at least 35...
I did get an offer today..On Tues. Wed. and Thurs. ..Ill be going to another McDonalds (about a 27 mins drive away) and work there..8am-4PM...then work at Montrose McDs on Mon.'s Fri.'s and Sat.'s....So this may help....for now.
BUT I do think Ill look into finding a better job altogether....ASAP.

Its not often I get to have Sat. and Sun. off together...I normally get a weekday off...So it will be nice to have two whole days in a row, that I dont have to go to work...I miss just lazing about...

Hello everyone...
I have been reading, but no time to post...
Still at McDs...but actively looking for another job...
I have an interview for a vet tech job at the local vet here..( I really hope to get this one!)
and another interview at the Petsmart in Vestal(about 20-30 mins away)..It would be alright, but not thrilled with the drive and the pay will most likely be low...

I was on drive thru for the first time last night...
one of the orders was NINE Mcdoubles...thats a lot of burgers...LOL...and when the car got to the window..all I could smell was smoke..and not cig smoke...lol...there were only four people in the car...all young men..I wonder why they were soooo hungry...LOL

drive thru was kind of fun...too bad they wont give me more hrs..and better times...I like what I do there..its just that management treat the crew so bad..bad pay + bad treatment = rotten job...
Sooo new job elsewhere ASAP!

The weather has been so nice over here for about a week, and I have enjoyed sunning myself in the afternoon. Well today it has started to cool down, and it is very cloudy, so I'm not so happy

I've had the day to myself, all I've done is pop into town and mow the grass

I can't wait for my holiday, only 66 days to go

It's been rather chilly here lately but not cold.

Today I've done some things around the house and done some errands around town. A fairly productive day.

Today is ONESDAY WEDNESDAY for me
