7th January 2007, Dancing Queens Thread CONTINUED

Morning Mandy.

It's a wet and dreary morning here to day :umbrella:

Tomorrow I'm going with Liz to have a look at the college that she plans on attending next year.

She wants to go back to school and possibly become an x-ray technician.

So she will be leaving us in the fall and with Alex trying to get a job, we may be empty nesters by September.

That's a great thing and a not so great thing.

Actually I'm quite looking forward to it.

Hiya girls!!

A quick hello... CW is pulling me out the door, Chad has another away game this afternoon... so another 2 hr drive :guilty:

He picked Carolin up from school early, she's having fun braiding my hair as I type. And she's telling me to tell everyone hello!!

Mandy, I hope the girls enjoy their break! Carolin & Chad's start April 17th... you enjoy your break as well! ;)

Robin, have fun tommorrow visiting the college! I've always thought it would be cool to be an xray tech. One of my good friends has been doing it for awhile and truly enjoys it! :thumbsup2

Betsy, how have ya been? Hope you are well!!

Enjoy your weekend gals! It's suppose to be almost 80 today and in the low 70's this weekend! :goodvibes Yardwork... here I come!

:headache:I want some of that :)

Enjoy your game and hopefully you don't have the chilly, wet, dreary weather that we are having today.

Hello everyone...
I went to work and when I came home at 2PM...
I found out that all hell broke loose this morning in Binghamton..
What a tragedy!:sad2:

BREAKING NEWS
Binghamton shooting leaves a dozen dead

http://www.foxnews.com/

I am praying for all the victims, and their families...
Some people are just evil .
I dont think I knew anyone involved, but My sister works in the highschool right down the road...She is alright. The school was put in lockdown...
My son was married in the church right next door to this building...

That is a terrible thing to have happen Betsy.

You must have been quite worried about family members when you first heard about it.

Good Afternoon DWDQ's

I hope you're all well today

We are having a very lazy weekend :thumbsup2

This morning Kerry & I made a cake, as it's her best friend Bex's 18th on Tuesday. Kerry's pleased with it, and that's all that matters

Today it's the Grand National, which is a huge horse racing event over here. Paul & I paid our yearly visit to the bookies to put a couple of bets on, so fingers crossed for a little win :wizard:

Betsy - I saw on the news about the shootings yesterday. It's so sad
Have a good weekend if you're working

Robin - Enjoy your visit to the college with Liz. I'm sure I would enjoy 'empty nest syndrome' for about a week, then I would probably find the house too quiet

Kelly - Enjoy your yardwork (LOL), how lucky are you ? I wish we had lovely temperatures like you. It's a nice, sunny day here, but not too warm

Have a great weekend everyone :)

G'day ladies although it is definitely NOT a good weather day here today.

It's extremely windy, wet (rain AND snow  )

Disgusting:headache:

I was going to go out and do a few things but I'm thinking maybe not.

So, what's happening with everyone else??

:wave2:

Work, work, work.....:)

Just got home...:faint:.....Man am I tired...
So Im resting up for another work day tomorrow....:teeth:

Did ya hear about the earthquake in Italy...east of Rome...:sad2:
Its sad, but I have to say..Im glad it happened now instead of later, as my son (Mike)will be in Rome, next week...He's going for his church group...they are paying for the whole thing, AND his week of pay..he would have gotten..from his job..

It will be a great experience for him...He was there beofre with Mike and I... when we were there in the Air Force...but he was only a few month old...So Im guessing he doesnt remember it...:teeth:

Well Im going to go drop dead until tomorrow...:faint:

Hi DWDQ's

It's a lovely, sunny day over here. I'm really enjoying having the girls off school for two weeks

Tonight the girls are staying at their friend Bex's house as it's her 18th birthday today. Kerry went out with Bex last night and her family for a meal, then tonight she's having them over for a sleepover. So, Paul & I are going to go out for a nice meal - which should be nice

Robin - so sorry to hear that you've still got snow. I would be feeling depressed if it was that cold still in April. I hope it warms up for you soon

Betsy - The earthquake has been big news over here. It's so sad, but I'm so glad that they're still finding survivors. I hope your son enjoys his time over there. I've never been to Italy, but it looks such a beautiful country

I hope work goes well today :thumbsup2

Kelly - I hope you had a great weekend, what did you get up to ?

Anyway girls, have a great day :)

Hello ladies.

Today was a busy day.

I spent the morning at the hospital being poked and prodded and squished:rotfl2:

I had a mammogram, a left breast ultrasound, an xray to see if I have kidney stones and an ECG.

Other than maybe the kidney stones, I dont' expect there to be any problems.

Then I went to work for a bit.

Now I'm getting ready for tomorrow.

It is Rick's 50th birthday and we are having a bit of a party.

Not a huge one, just a few friends and family over. Some he knows about and some he does not.;)

He asked who was coming and I told him...... his parents....... my mom and then I stopped there.

We are having dinner at 6ish and then cake.

It will be an easy dinner because I have to have two cavities filled tomorrow morning:headache:

Guess I had better get busy and get some things done tonight then:thumbsup2

Everybody have a good day?

Good Morning Girls

I had a lovely day yesterday. In the afternoon I took Becky into town and finished off buying things for her Prom in July. Here's her accessories ..

I had a bit of a lie in this morning (as the girls were at Bex's), and after doing my housework, I went for a power walk (to work off some of last nights meal :rotfl2:) and now I'm just chilling

Robin - I hope Rick had a great birthday :bday:

I'm glad your tests went well, and I hope all goes well at the dentist today
