The Wii games...
We played some bowling..I won two games....and I won a couple of games of tennis too, but they hadn't played it before, so I'll give them some time to play for awhile on their own Wii, before I beat them in tennis again...LOL
and then we played billiards. a game I am NOT good at and was completely trounced in...Oh well they will have to give me some more practice time on that one...
It was a fun night..

Well I am off to the interview..its not until 5:30 PM..for some odd reason, but that's OK, it gave me the day to clean and get myself ready for it!

I hardly ever play those games on the Wii for some reason.

Right now I've been spending a lot of time on my Dance Dance Revolution game.

It's a real workout and actually quite good for improving your reaction time. Or at least that's my justification anyways

The weather is still sunny these past few days but the temperatures have taken a major drop.

You know the kind of day where you look out the window and think : "hey, looks wonderful out" But when you step out the chill surprises you.

That's the kind of weather we've been having.

Airplane competitions start I think in the beginning of May sometime.

Hey all,
I just wanted to let you all know, That I am now an employed person
I go to orientation tomorrow at 7AM I am barely awake at that time.
Oh well it's a job....I'm not sure what my days/hrs will be...I will find that all out tomorrow.

Hey there everyone!!

Reading your posts about Wii brought back a memory... the sound of my Wii controller hitting CW on the back of the head when we were playing tennis!

.....

I'm suprised his hard head didn't crack the controller! But he'll never kneel down in the floor in front of me to play Wii anymore!

Alex just told me that as of yesterday all Outback Steak Houses have been closed in Canada

We don't have one in our city but there is one (well was one ) an hours drive away in each direction.

We will miss it but I guess that will have to be one of our treats when we cross the border.

All is quiet over here, the highlight of my day was receiving our Pink tickets for her concert in April. The girls are going to be standing at the concert, but Paul has booked a package where we will get a couple of drinkypoos and a hot buffet too ~ which all sounds like good fun

Hmmm, what did I do today??

Well, I puttered around the house for most of the day, doing nothing useful at all

Then Liz, my mom and I went shopping to the "city". We went out to dinner and browsed in the pet store and the art and craft supply store.

Then we went to the casino and made a donation

After which we headed back home again.

At the craft store I bought myself a bigger shadow box frame to put my Disney pins in. The one that I had is too small and crowded and I've wanted to get a bigger one for quite some time now.

I've got a quiet day today. I've been to town this morning (though I didn't buy anything ). I've also got Becky off with a bad cold and sore throat

I am up early this morning because the phone woke me

So I'm going to go into work (pay day tomorrow and somebody has to make those cheques )

Also this afternoon I have to go to the dentist I have some cavities that need to be fixed

So not a real fun day in store for me today.

Hello DWDQ's

This is my last day of leisure until I'm officially in the working world..

My hrs. aren't real bad...Mostly 7AM to 2-3PM...depending on the day..
This Thurs.( so far my only Thurs.) I don't have to come in until 10AM, and get off at 4PM Fri., and Sat. I don't have to come in until 11AM...On Fri. I will work until 4PM, and Sat. only until 2PM..( I think they are starting me slowly)

All next week and the week after its 7-2,..I'm off on Thurs.(except tomorrow) and Sunday's..as I requested..
There are a few days two weeks from now I'll have to be in at 6AM..Hopefully there wont be many of them...The hrs. are all over the place, but I'll be averaging 35-39 hrs. a week..Only management gets 40 hrs...after 90 day I think I get medical...at least I filled out paperwork for it....

I'm thinking it will be an easy and fun job...AND if my hrs. stay within 30 a week it will get us to Maui
So I'm very happy with it..So far

I do get nervous when the little ones are running around and everyone is playing Wii...I'm sure someone will get konked sooner or later...As it is we have a strict rule that you cant play unless the strap is on the wrist...I don't want anyone hurt, but I also don't want my TV screen broken...

The Wii can definately cause alot of problems... good thing you've got the strap rules! We use that rule too, now we need a rule to stay at least an extra arms length from each other...

Robin, you poor thing! I really, really need to get my tooth looked at... I don't think I can bring myself to walk thru the door. I am absolutely terrified!

Mandy, hope Becky is feeling better! Sorry to hear she's been sick, send her our well wishes please!

Gotta scoot out of here... one of the girls is leaving our office (she's found a job closer to home). We are having a lunch for her, so I need to go pick up the food. Have a great day!
