It's a nice sunny day here today.

That snow will be melting away for sure and I'm awfully glad for that.

It's supposed to be quite nice for the first few days of this week.

I've got to run out and do some things.

Betsy, I'm glad to see there has been some good news floating around about little Miss Rita! She has been on the prayer list with our church, after church on Sunday... alot of people came up to me asking if I had heard anything. They'll be glad to know she's better!

Thank you sooo much...It must have worked, as she was at the doc. Sat. and he was very pleased to say her lungs are completely clear...So she is back to being a normal healthy little girl...TTL.
I looked at your pics...Thanks for sending the link...You all looked like you had a GREAT time...

Today we are waiting to hear if rumors will turn out to be true and they will be doing another layoff today ...I am praying that mike doesnt come home early today..and he can go back to work tomorrow..

At least we are getting some warmer weather ..I may not have to have a fire today... ..I am sure we wont get rid of much snow tho, as we live on the north side of the mt....I will however be able to watch it melt off the mt. across the road from me ..Good enough for now

I also have a ton of cleaning to do..with the extra day I dont clean, because of Mike being home on Mondays...
So Im off to be my alter ego ..for the day.... "Domestic Engineer Diva"...

It's been a beautiful day here.

The temps are in the mid 50's and the sun has been shining.

What a contrast to a week ago.

Good morning ladies.

Well, Kelly, the weather is warm but today it is raining

Heck, I'm not complaining of course.

It could be snow.

I just finished off the details of renting us a house in Port Charlotte Florida for the first week of March.

We plan on leaving Feb 28 and returning on March 8.

The guys want to go down and fly their airplanes again like they did last year.

Heck, I'm not complaining about that either because I'm going to Florida

Then can fly all they want and I'm going to relax at this gorgeous house with it's own swimming pool

I'm with you Kelly ~ I can't wait for Spring to come too. I'm just looking forward to lying out in the garden in some sunshine

Betsy ~ I hope you've still got warm weather. I shouldn't complain too much, as the snow has melted now, it's just a bit chilly

Hello everyone....

Not a good day here...Mike got layed off today...
So we both will be looking for jobs...
Its really kind of sad ..after working some place for 30 years, there are alot of people he will miss also...

It was warm today...58 I think...But it is suppose to get cold again by Sat.

It was very warm here today but wet.

I went into the trailer just to have a look around and everything seems okay.

No leaks, no sign of vermin, so that's good.

Made me nostalgic for the past summer weekends though

Mandy, I was thinking about how I hadn't finished my little TR the other nite. I haven't been on the computer much since I've been busy planning Chad's party for tomorrow nite. I'll be able to work on it next week once I get the party behind me. Suppose to be 40+ teens... what have I gotten into

Mandy, I was just thinking last night about that, while I couldnt' sleep because the power was out and I was wondering if the sump pump would overflow and flood the basement

I'll get to them, I promise. You know I always do, just have to have the right mood to get started.

Kelly, Port Charlotte is about an hour and a half or so south of Tampa along the I75.

How do you feel about a stowaway, Robin?

Chad caught me when I was half asleep about the number of kids he had invited... I'm curious to really how many will show since a few had asked him at school if they could go.

I have made sure my nerve pills are in my pocketbook!

We are having a Valentine's Day secret exchange on the UK Community. My present came today, this is what I got, I felt so lucky

Here are my fab presents. When I opened the parcel there was this note on the top

Then there was these lovely presents

There was loads, I got a Disney Sweetheart Stories DVD a bottle of White Zinfandel (you know me so well)

a Yankee Candle Candied Apple jar and a cute Yankee Candle shade and tray/plate for it (sorry I don't know the proper name as I've never had one before), some Philosophy bath/shower creme, a Lady & the Tramp pin and a yummy Thorntons choccy lolly (which I will save till after my weigh-in tomorrow)

Hopefully will get that done this weekend.

I will post my trip report and direct the threadkillers to come over here and have a look if they want to see it.

So there may be some people traipsing thru over the next while.
