7th January 2007, Dancing Queens Thread CONTINUED

We got a pile of snow last night.

After it turned dark it started to snow.

Don't know for sure how much but plenty for Duster to have a lot of fun.

She was outside burrowing thru the snow and eating it and just having a ton o' kitten fun:rotfl2:

It's hilarious to watch.

Mischief, now, she is smarter than that. Hates the cold and just looks at Duster like she's a crazy cat;)

Kelly ~ Goodness me !! It's one thing after another in your family  I hope you're all feeling better very soon

We're all feeling better with the exception of dad...:sad2: Right about now, I think bubble wrap would be a wise investment for our family!:rotfl2:

Awwww... :cutie: I bet that was so cute to watch!!

I'm hoping for snow on just one day... Christmas!!pixiedust:

BTW... did you all see this thread about the storm in FL that caused havoc at PC?

Yikes...

What a beautiful family you have Betsy (including little Albert! :cutie: !! The pics of the snow and ice were gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!:goodvibes

Just wanted to stop in and say hello! I'm trying to get organized since next week is going to be busy, busy!!:yay:

Hope all is well with everyone!!:grouphug:

Lovely photos Betsy. All that snow looks so nice, and I hope it's the only snow I get to see too :rotfl2: :rotfl2: The grandkids are so cute as well

I hope you're all having a lovely day.

I've had a busy day. I saw my mum this morning, took my presents round to my friend's this afternoon, and then took Kerry to do some Christmas shopping tonight ~ I think I'm ready for my bed now ~ only another hour or so to go ~ LOL

Enjoy the rest of your day girls :)

Morning ladies.

We've had another major dumping of snow.

It happened really quickly too.

I got up for a bit at 7 am and it was just starting and now there are major drifts everywhere:sad2:

Friends of ours were travelling out of Toronto to England this morning for Christmas.

I haven't been able to find out if their flight got off on time or not.:confused3

They were leaving at 9, so I'm hopeful but for some reason the websites are giving me grief.

We are expecting even more snow this afternoon I believe and what is there is already blowing around.

But I really don't need to go anywhere, so I think I will just stay around home today.

Hope you are all having a nice warm and cosy day.

Mandy, I hope I can get as organized as you at some point! I'm still Christmas shopping... and nothing has been wrapped! :rolleyes1 You'll have to tell me your secrets to staying ahead of schedule!:thumbsup2

Robin, yikes! Are you sick of the snow already? I'm amazed that we had snow last month (which is unusual) but today it's in the 60's. The weather this season has been so wacky! I hope you are having a warm and cozy indoor day yourself! Tell Duster to enjoy himself/herself! :goodvibes

Well I can't believe I'm actually going to say this... I think it's a first for me! I'm looking forward to Monday! With soccer tonight, all day shopping tommorrow, our Christmas cantata and parade on Sunday... I have hardly had time to take a breather! :rotfl: I've even had a hard time watching my soaps that I have recorded each night! I get cranky if I don't get to watch them!:lmao:

Of course I'm tired of the snow Kelly. I'm not really fond of the stuff to start with.

It does look very pretty out sometimes though when the snowflakes fall softly with big huge flakes.

My nice warm cosy day included an hour outside shovelling that darn snow:sad2:

Duster has spent the day sleeping so far. She will probably be up later and want to go out and play. I wonder what she will think when the snow is taller than she is:eek:

With this horrible weather I'm really wishing we had a January trip planned to look forward to.

I'm keeping watch on the Norwegian Cruise that our friends want us to go on. There are only balcony and above cabins available right now and we are not willing to pay the price they are asking for those.

If they open up some more lower level cabins, we will most likely go:thumbsup2

Of course, now that we have decided that we'd like to go, there will probably be no more cheaper cabins to be had.

Good Morning DWDQ's

I hope you're having a lovely weekend. What have you been up to ?

Yesterday we all met up with my parents for breakfast and we exchanged presents, then Paul & I went to see Paul's aunt at the old people's home and gave her all her presents

Today we're going to see Paul's dad, then later this afternoon, Paul & I are going to dinner with some friends, then going to a comedy show tonight - it should be a great night, and we're really looking forward to it

The girls have got some friends coming over this evening and they're staying over tonight

Robin ~ stay warm, I'm glad we haven't got all that snow

Betsy ~ I loved your photos, they're great (I looked at them again)

Kelly ~ I hope you've managed to catch up with your soaps, your weekend sounded very busy to me, I hope it was fun too

Have a great weekend girls :thumbsup2

Sounds like you have a very busy and fun weekend planned Mandy.

Yesterday was a fairly nice day other than quite cold.

It was the calm before the next storm which is going on today:mad:

It is snowing and blowing like crazy today:sad2:

I'm tired of snow already.

Oh well, guess I better get used to it.

Hey DWDQ's

Last night Paul & I went out with my friend Nat and her hubby for a meal and then we went to see a Christmas show. Here's a couple of photos of us at the restaurant

I hope you have all got your Christmas presents bought, as the shops are so busy now. I've just got my food shopping to do tomorrow morning

Have a lovely day girls

Loved your pictures as always Mandy:thumbsup2

You all look very nice.

Liz and I went grocery shopping today too.

It was extremely crazy busy but the check out line was not too bad.

Pushing the cart thru the snow to the car and loading it and then unloading at home was not much fun though.

But it's done now.

Hey girls!!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello! We've got a Christmas exchange tonight with CW's aunts, uncles and cousins. I still haven't wrapped their packages :upsidedow

I won't do this again next year! :sad2:

I hope the snow melts away quickly for you Robin!! What did Duster think of it?

Mandy, the kids have been chatting back and forth and I'm being asked about when we are meeting up. I'll have to get up with you soon!!:thumbsup2

Betsy, hope you are doing well and enjoying the days before Christmas!

You guys take care!:grouphug:

Hey Kelly

LOL, Kerry has been asking me to make some arrangements too :) So, what are your plans ? You arrive on the 1st, so what have you got planned for the 2nd and 3rd ?

We have only got plans for the evening of the 3rd, when we go to the Hard Rock Cafe, so we are free to meet up anytime

Kerry mentioned that the Magic Kingdom is open late on the 2nd (as the rides there are less intense there for Carolin), so we could meet up at the Pop Century in the afternoon if you like

We can pretty much work around any plans that you have, so let me know, and we'll sort something out between us :thumbsup2

I can't wait to see you all

We haven't made any plans for the days we are at WDW. We were just going to take advantage of the EMHs.

How cool of Kerry to think of Carolin! We could meet up on the 2nd if you'd like and hang out around MK since they close late... that would have been our plans!

How soon do you know which room you are staying in?

How soon do you know which room you are staying in?

Are you going to be in MK all day ? or go late afternoon and try and last out all evening ?

We are sending a fax to the Pop Century to see if we can have 2 rooms in the 90's building (you can send one around 3 days before arrival), but we won't know our room number till we check in. Kerry will be taking her laptop with her, so she can PM our room numbers to you once we know

I'm pretty sure we'll be there the whole day other than slipping back to our room a couple of times.

I'll put a reminder in to fax our request as well for the 90s building.

That will be great to get your room number. Once we find out ours, I'll call your room and leave a message if we don't reach you!:goodvibes

We've decided that we're going to join you in the afternoon. I'm sure the kids will be keeping in touch with each other throughout the day. So when you pop back to chill out or go to the pool, then we'll head back to MK with you ::yes::

If the weather is nice, then we'll definitely be around the pool around lunch time, so I'm sure we'll bump into each other or keep in touch by our room phones

Woohoo !! this is so exciting
