Hey Robin! Glad you and Liz had a great time on your shopping trip!

Wow! It's been quiet around here!

Another Soccer Saturday has passed! The boys were excited to get another win... so they are 5 W - 1 L! Sunday we relaxed at home... finally!

We woke up this morning to a light frost... guess I better dig up my purple fountain grass and bring it inside before it's too late!

Mandy? Have you deserted us

We went out to dinner yesterday to celebrate our anniversary, which is today.

29 years.

The kids took us out to the Caesars Casino in Windsor, about an hour away to the huge buffet that they have there.

It is always yummy.

I had fun playing my favourite slot machine for quite a long time on my 20 dollars. I only stopped because everybody else had lost their money and were ready to go home

We did not get that hard frost that was predicted a few days ago so my flowers are still okay.

Well, got things to do, places to go and people to see.

So I am off. Have a great day everyone.

I forgot to mention the sad news from last week.

My SIL was told that her cancer is back and the future is not good for her.

She was given 2 to 6 months without any treatment and up to a year with treatment.

Her first thought was no treatment because she did not want to spend her last days laying on the sofa throwing up. Last time chemo made her so very sick.

She also lives alone and it would be hard to be so sick and be alone all the time.

But the doctor suggested that she try two treatments to see how she reacts this time and to see if it helps any. If it makes her sick then she is going to stop.

Life is just so sad and unfair sometimes. She is going to turn 48 in January (hopefully).

How are your vacation plans coming along ? Is everything all booked up now ? I can't believe how quick the time is flying here. Before long it will be Christmas and then off we go (woohoo !!!)

Anyway, I'm still here It's been busy around here. Kerry is working hard and enjoying driving everywhere. Becky had her friend over for a sleepover on Friday night, then Kerry, Becky & Bex went to see Fall Out Boy in concert last night

I'm nearly finished my Christmas shopping, and most of it is wrapped up too

I'm so sorry to hear your SIL sad news, what an awful decision to have to make, and even worse if she's on her own

Morning ladies,
I have done horrorably on my diet this last weekend..
We had friends over on Sat. and I made a fajita dinner...and ate way too much,
Then we had the girls over and ate the left overs, for lunch and for dinner Mike went a got pizza and I ate way to much....
THEN...We had our monthly dinner with Mikes DB, and DSIL..and guess what!
Nope you are wrong....Haha...I was really good and only had a small caesar salad, BUT the damage was done..and when I got on the scale this morning...
Well let just say that I should LIVE on my treadmill for a few days...and NO eating ...LOL

You will be happy to know I have a pretty good handle on the Christmas shoping here...We try to pick up a gift every week, sometimes more depending on what we find...
BUT you are indeed a better Christmas elf than I am, because I have yet to wrap even one of them...Although they are quite safe from prying eyes , as I keep them in my bedroom and thats off limits to the DGC...

Believe it or not... we still haven't booked everything! As long as we have somewhere to sleep and our tickets are purchased... I'm ok. I'd like to get our DR done but we'll see

I feel your pain! If it makes you feel better, I have to get to the store either today or tomorrow. I'm hoping tonight since CW will be out of town for the next couple of days.

I have a really hard time loading up a 40 lb. bag of dog food in the back of our van... it's a good laugh for people out in the parking lot though
