Me too!!

Are there any restaurants that we should try and get to? I'd like to take the kids to something that has a little Disney magic to it!

It depends on what kind of food you like. We love the all-you-can-eat buffets, so Chef Mickey's is good and has a great atmosphere. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto & Donald are there. Crystal Palace is good too. It's a buffet too with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eyeore. I love Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch. It's served family style, where they bring a skillet of food out to you (and you can ask for more) and you see Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto

So really it depends on what kind of food you like and what characters are your favourites too :)

Thanks for the info! It gives me some ideas!

Well... off to lunch! Hope you have a great day! Thanks again Mandy!

Robin - Where were you this time last Monday ? Nassau ? Castaway Cay ? I bet it feels like a long time ago now. I look forward to seeing your piccies :thumbsup2

Good day all.

This time last Monday we were having a sea day.

Our itinerary was : Day at Sea, Nassau and then Castaway Cay.

I'll have to get to those pictures soon.

You know that I will do it eventually, just takes me awhile sometimes;)

At least you're not as bad as me! I promised you guys I'd scan/post the pics the cruiseline took of CW & I from our April RC cruise... :lmao:

I will have to try and remember to do that!:thumbsup2

Morning ladies...:wave2:

Mandy,
No we didnt stay...Its only 10 mins away..and its not all that quiet anymore....It was when we lived there..., But so many people started living there full time that its just like any other neighbourhood...or small village..
The cottage itself needs alot of work...BUT that will have to wait until next year...
After the facelift we think we will sell it...Its just too hard to keep more then one place going....
My brother lives right next door( They took over my moms old place) to our cottage.
The orig. cottage(which was my grandparents). The only place directly on the lake, is also right down the road..So its not like we need to have ours to enjoy the lake....;)

Yesterday I started up my old 20 gal. fishtank..:cool1: in my kitchen...
I had packed it away when we moved, until I got settled into our new place....:rotfl2:
Well we have lived here for almost 10 years now...Ya think I may be settled in yet?...LOL::yes::

Looks like it will be nice today...Cold ...but nice and sunny:sunny:
Another frost last night...So I am going to start a fire in my woodstove today:yay: ..One of the ONLY things I like about it getting cold out...:goodvibes

I also have some major cleaning to do today...and laundry too:faint:

Have a good one DWDQs..pixiedust:

Betsy................

need some guppies for that fish tank

:rotfl2:

I was looking at mine this morning and I have a couple hundred fish to spare;)

I found the coolest picture frame yesterday.

I didn't pick it up then but after thinking about it I just had to go back today and get it!

Neat huh:thumbsup2

When I got it the girl at the counter asked me what kind of car did I have:confused3 :rotfl2:

I told her I was going to use it for cruise ship CRUISIN, not car CRUISIN.

I also told her it was my screenname;)

Now to figure out which pictures to put into it.

Only 15 cruises worth of pictures to look thru to find the pictures

Hey Disney Wonder Dancing Queens

I hope you're all having a great day :thumbsup2

We're having a little celebration here, Kerry has just passed her driving test. I'm so proud of her. She has just jumped in her car and she is driving herself to college. I'm going to be a nervous wreck for the next few weeks, while I get used to her being on the road on her own, but I'm sure she's going to love her freedom :)

Robin - I love your picture frame, I can see why you just had to have it :)

Betsy - Have fun sorting out your fish tank, I think after 10 years, you should be settled in by now :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kelly - LOL, I'd forgotten about your RC photos - I look forward to seeing them - one day !!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have a great day girls :)

Hiya everyone!!

Robin, neat sign!! Maybe you can find one/two fav pics from each cruise to put together with the sign. Hope your rainy day will be turning sunny soon! We're suppose to have rain this weekend... figures, the weekend there are no soccer games!:headache:

Betsy, now I'm not feeling too bad! We are still getting settled in our house of 4 yrs now! These things kinda take time... you know? Everything has to have it's place...;)

Mandy, :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:! (Well wishes for your nerves and congrats to Kerry!) :rotfl: I'm not looking forward to that day... it's less than 7 months I believe but it'll be here before I know it!:scared:

I unfortunately have some not so good news this morning.

My sister in law (well ex sorta because we just found out that her and my brother never had the divorce finalized) has breast cancer.

She had surgery about a year or so ago and had made a fairly good recovery.

Well now it is back

It has spread and it is not good.

I don't have any real details of how long she has left yet but it is at Stage 4.

She is young, turning 48 in January and I have known her a very long time, since she was 15 so that's 32 years.

I have two nephews from her and my brother, one who will soon be 32 and the other just turned 16.

Life is just not fair sometimes.

:grouphug: Oh Robin, I am so sorry to hear the news of your SIL ~ I'm thinking of her and your family :grouphug:

Yes, life can be so unfair :(

Yeah.

That's why I gladly take all the birthdays that come my way.

When younger people die, I feel grateful for the extra years that I have had and sad for the fact that they will never have them.

Hi all!

Robin, I am so sorry to hear about your SIL. Do you live in a close proximity to them?

Lots of hugs and prayers being sent your family's way! :wizard:  :wizard:

Good morning all.

It is an absolutely beautiful day here today and it's looking great weatherwise for the whole long weekend.

We have decided to take the trailer out for one last weekend, so now I've got to scramble to get things ready.

We are only going to our local flying field, so that's only 20 minutes or so from home. No big deal if we forget something.

I finally took the plunge this morning and hired myself a lawn service. I'm always the one who has to cut the grass and I'm getting tired of it.;)

It's not that it's so difficult to do, it's just getting the motivation up for some reason:confused3

Kelly, thanks for the wishes for my family.

My sisterinlaw lives in the same city that we do.

I don't see her very often though but she still drops in to visit with my mom occasionally.

Smart move Robin!!:thumbsup2 Now you can dis more!!:lmao:

That's good that you all live close within each other in case your nephews need some shoulders!

Enjoy your last minute trip!

No plans this weekend... no games... but lots of :laundy: :scared:

Hey Disney Wonder Dancing Queens

  I hope you're all having a lovely weekend

All is quiet here, we haven't got any big plans for the weekend either. Kerry is working (she loved receiving her pay packet the other day) and she's happily driving here, there and everywhere :)

Becky had a friend to sleepover last night, and this morning Paul & I popped into town where he bought me a nice Victoria Beckham perfume gift set for Christmas

Have a great weekend girls ::yes::

 Hey DWDQ's

I hope you all had a nice weekend, what did you get up to ?

Yesterday me, Paul & Becky went to Birmingham for a wander around the shops (Kerry was working). I bought Becky a t-shirt and Paul a Cars mug for Christmas ;)

I'm really pleased how all my Christmas shopping is coming along. I am hoping to have myself sorted out by the end of the month :thumbsup2

I'm off into town with my mum this morning, and then I've got a relaxing rest of the day

Have a lovely day girls ::yes::
