Yes it's another airplane competition.

It's about 2 hours or so from here.

We are going a day early this time, so the guys can practice on the Friday.

Since Canada Day was on Tuesday, Rick decided to take his day off on Friday instead. That way we can leave a day earlier.

I've gotten the lawn mowed.

Now to shower and get on with some other "important stuff"

I haven't got any special Canada Day plans today.

I'm just sitting around home doing as little as possible. (Just like a normal day )

Betsy, can't wait to see those pictures.

I haven't heard from any doctors about my biopsy results, so I'm going on the adage that "no news is good news"

It was done 2 weeks ago today.

I will call later this week and see if I can get the results if I don't hear from them first.

Mandy, believe it or not we still haven't finalized our plans for Niagara Falls! I'm making CW sit down with me next week to get it straight whether he likes it or not!

We have a picnic tomorrow for the 4th of July. We'll be lighting our own fireworks, his family pitches in together to put on a nice show!

Hopefully it'll be a nice and relaxing weekend after that!

P. S. Mandy... tell Kerry I loved her photos! Looks like she had a great time! She's so adorable!

NF is a really fun place, and the falls are just awsome!..You will have a great time there Im sure..

Happy 4TH, a little late...Spent the day at my DB,& DSILs house...ate wayyyyyy tooooo muchhhhh...

Then we went shopping on Sat...We bought a new patio set for each other as our Ann. gifts...
Its really nice..and we've really needed one for all the kids, when we BBQ..

This isnt you same old Sunday for us...
We are on our own today. The girls are staying home with mom, Dad, and Emily..Its the only day my DS has off...So they are celebrating their 4th today!

Also we have my DGS, Billy's,( from my other DS )birthday party to go to, today. His birthday was actually on the 1st but they waited til after the 4th.
to have the party..
We got him a new bike...Im sure he will be happy with it, as his last bike got run over...Hopefully he has learned to NOT leave it in the driveway...LOL

Im still working on my Picture TR, in the odd little times Im finding the time...Sorry its taking so long...Life keeps getting in the way...

Weather wise, we have had alot of rain here this summer... although it looks like it will be a nice day today...

Well Im off for more coffee...

For Becky's last two weeks of school, her school year are starting Work Experience. She will be working at a Christian Youth Club, who run Mother & Toddler groups, playgroups, mentor in schools and run lunchtime/ after school and Youth Clubs. She should enjoy it, as Kerry worked there 2 years ago and had a great time

Morning Mandy.

Rick did his usual, got first place in his division.

That's nice for now but if a pilot gets 5 first place wins in a season, the next season he must move up to the next level.

He now has 4 firsts and it seems pretty certain that he will pick up another before the summer is over.

If he needs to move up a category that will take the wind out of his sails (or should I say wings ) pretty quickly.

Oh well, maybe the challenge of a new level will humble him abit. Not that he is the least bit arrogant about his wins. He always wonders how he manages to win all the time

It seems like we are headed into a nice stretch of warm/hot weather

I'm looking forward to that.

Thanks for the interest in my TR....Its really fun to do, but also really hard to decide which photos to post...as I have way over 300 pics...between the ones I took and the ones Britt took...Of course I took most of them because I wanted Britt to be in them....

The girls were just GREAT..and let me take alot more of them then they would normally have...I think its because they knew this could very well be there last time to go together as a family...and wanted alot of good memories..

I havent made any real plans yet for Hawaii, I know where I want to go and stayand about how long(9-10 days)...But I cant make any ressies until Sept. Which is a year from our planned trip date..I would like to go to Oahu,(its nonstop from Newark NJ)and stay at the Turtle Bay resort on the north side of the Island for 2-3 days then take the Super Ferry to Maui, and stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel for 5-6 days, then take the Super Ferry back to Oahu, and stay on Wakiki beach at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Hotel for the last 2 days and then fly nonstop back to Newark NJ...from there...

We will see how it all goes when the time comes to make the ressies....

Well I have my sister visiting from Az.....We went and got my mom yesterday and took her to lunch and then went to see "WallE"..which was a really cute movie...Ill be buying this one for sure!..
Then after we took mom back we got home and had a nice roasted chicken dinner, and I showed her my Wii...She fell in love with it and now has to get one...LOL...It was a fun night...She slept over and we are going to walk to the state park, and back today...Then she has to go back to Az.tomorrow...
