We haven't done much at all. We just visited Paul's aunt and watched Rugby on the TV

We have been so lucky recently. The weather has been very mild for a couple of weeks, but Winter is supposed to return on Wednesday

Me too!!! We have woken up to snow today! I was hoping that the weather man would be wrong... I do not like snow in the month of March I hope this is it.

The kids are loving it though! No school for them today!

It's still snow flurries here! The kids are hoping that schools will be closed tommorrow as well... I can't believe I've got my snow boots out, I will be so happy when I can pull out my flip flops!

Good morning ladies.

It's actually a frosty morning here in Southern Florida.

Yup, there's frost on the truck. Yuck.

We had a fairly uneventful trip down and made it Sunday at about 7pm.

The house here is absolutely beautiful, wish the weather was the same.

It's been very cool but sunny. It's supposed to get to about 65 here today and up in the 70's tomorrow.

Rick has been very sick with some sort of stomach flu since yesterday morning. He seems to be a bit better so far today.

It's too bad because he was so looking forward to this trip.

I've taken a ton of pictures of the house and will post them when I get home.

Kelly, love the picture of Carolin and the waterfall. Very creative idea.

Sorry to hear that Rick has been sick! Hope he is feeling much better today!

I was home with Chad, this time, yesterday! Good grief!! I can't believe how bad the flu has been in this area. I went to buy bleach at Walmart and the whole shelf was nearly empty. Only 4 bottles left out of all of the brands and scents.

Hope that you are having warmer weather too!

Well we are getting a little warmer here...its around 30 degrees...LOL

No job offers yet....
So no plans for future vacations....

P&P to Rick and Chad...
I know this year has been a bad one for sicknesses...My eldest's household has been a never ending circle of viruses...going around and around...

Well today I have kept myself busy with laundry and I made another big pot of chicken soup....Turned out well..

It works out great ..as I buy a couple nice big roasted chicken..and have one, that night, then..make chicken noodle cassarole with the left overs , the next night..Than make a big pot of soup with all the left overs the next night...
the chicken soup will last quite a few nights too...

I know its ALOT of chicken, but we end up with very little waste, and if I get too tired of chicken ..then I'll stick it in the freezer and save it for a week or two..and feed the DGKs with it when they come for a visit...

Hi ladies

It's a much nicer weather day here today. Still not really hot, just right around 70 but I'm not complaining.

Rick is better and the guys are out flying their airplanes.

The women have rented a car to have around for a day or two so that we are not stuck sitting at the house if we don't want to be.

I am the "designated driver". Today we went shopping for a bit after we got the car.

Right now I'm off to spend some time in the sunshine.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, as me and Becky are going shopping for her birthday (which is on the 19th). She hardly misses any time off school, so I am naughty and allow her one day off and we go and get her some birthday presents. We're going to get the train to Birmingham, do some shopping, get lunch (I think she wants to go to our fave Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet), then she'll finish off the day getting her hair cut
