Me & Becky had a great day today. We did lots of shopping. I bought her a lovely top, shorts, 2 pair of earrings, a bikini, some SpongeBob underwear (LOL) and a High School Musical 3 DVD

When we got back to Nuneaton, we had a Chinese all you can eat buffet for a late lunch, and then she had her hair trimmed

We both had a lovely day, although my purse is feeling very light now

Awww!! Glad to hear Becky had a great day! Sorry to hear your purse is a little lighter! I'm still trying to find that money tree the kids think we've planted in our backyard!

It was a pretty much perfect day here in Florida.

It was mid 70's and sunshine most of the day.

I even finally got into the pool.

It was very nice, apparently the pool heater was not working properly the first few days of our stay and we didn't even realize it

I figured it was just cooler because the temps had been cool

It was much much better after they fixed it.

We haven't got much organised. Tonight me and Becky are going to a Charity Fashion Show. We're hoping that there are going to be some Prom Dresses on show, as it will be Becky's Prom this July

Yesterday, Becky started Prom Dress hunting. She tried on some lovely dresses, and I think she knows the kind of dress she's after. We're going to have a look around some more stores this morning

I hope you're all having a lovely day. Me & Becky went Prom Dress hunting this morning, and although she didn't find the dress she was after, she tried on one similar, and she has decided that this is the one she wants

I am hoping that we will be ale to order it for her soon

Robin, glad you're back safe and sound! Thanks for sending the warm Florida weather like I requested! We have had four beautiful days with warm weather... looks like reality will hit us on Thursday

Betsy, I love wild birds! I'm trying to get some cardinals to come around my yard... I need to figure out what they like, any ideas? My koi and comets are feeding again!! I can't wait to sit outside watching them too!

Mandy, the dress Becky picked out is gorgeous! That color is going to look really good on her! Our school's prom is in May, I heard a couple of girls weren't going because they couldn't afford a dress... I called the principal to see if I could organize something so all girls had a dress. Wish me luck!

Thanks Kelly, I ordered Becky's dress this morning. Hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week. It's getting exciting organising all the Prom stuff. Will it be Chad's Prom this year ?

What a lovely idea. It's amazing how expensive some dresses are, and it would be such a shame for anyone to miss it due to the expense of the dress Good Luck at getting something organised

Our school's prom is for juniors and seniors unless he gets invited by a junior or senior. I'm sure he'll gladly accept the offer if he gets asked...

I havent tried it myself, but was told that mealy worms..will attract alot of different birds, that dont always come for seed...They say that Bluebirds love them...
You can get them in your pet store, as they feed them to lizards too...
or sometimes in agway type stores,..If you have a wildbirds unlimited..Im sure they would have them...you put them out in a pan-type(platform) feeder.
Other then that ...Black-oil sunflower seeds...
I use to get cardinals all the time, at my feeders when I fed the sunflower seeds, where I use to live...but we are too open here..I see them sometimes, but not very often...

I went into work this morning to get my desk caught up from being away for a week.

Now that's done and I'm home again.

Left over roast beef and veggies are being turned into stew tonight, so not much work there.

How has everybody's day been??
