Where are you off to in such a hurry this morning Betsy

I have to take my mom to the doctor this morning.

She has been sick since overnight on Thursday.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and generally just feeling yucky.

It doesn't seem to be getting much better so she is going to get checked out.

She needs to get healthy before our cruise

You starting to find any gray hairs from being driven...I think thats where I got a good portion of mine... ..
I actually helped 4 boys to learn drive...My sons and my 2 nephews...Its amazing I dont have white hair...

4 boys...

I haven't found a gray hair yet... but I am finding more hairs than usual on my hair brush!

We are back to school shopping today I hate seeing summer end so quickly but I do like the cooler temps... just not cold!

Robin, hope your DM is feeling much better!! Just think, in a few weeks you'll sailing away with dear ole Mickey!

Mandy, hope the seas were calm and the weather was great! I saw an article posted about the twin boys from "Suite Life with Zack and Cody" being in Port Canaveral... did you guys get to see them?

I'm off to fight with other parents over school supplies... just kidding... The stores seem to enjoy the fact that they cram everything needed into two isles. I just wish our schools would give us the supply list a little earlier!

Hey DWDQ's ~ We're back !!

... and we had a fantastic time. I can't wait to download our photos and start my trip report. We were so lucky, we met some great people on our Cruise and just had a brilliant time

We landed this morning at 6am, we had a little sleep and I've done about 5 loads of laundry

I'll tell you more tomorrow when I'm a bit more awake

Anyone else up to meeting at WDW on New Years Day?

That sounds like a great idea Kelly. Also, if you're in Epcot on NYE, we'll be in the UK around 7pm to see the UK New Year in

We received our cabin assignment today.

We had booked a CAT12 GTY.

We got upgraded to a CAT9 on Deck 1.

I'm okay with that

That's a great upgrade Robin. On our first Cruise we were in a Cat. 9 and we loved it

Kelly, a family we were sailing with are doing a back to back cruise and they knew that 'Zack & Cody' were going to be sailing ~ sadly, we didn't see them as we disembarked

Sorry for a short quick post... we are re-doing our office and I have been moved to share an office with mom now! So I'm without a computer for a day or so...

We had a great 3 day weekend... hated to send the kids back to school!

we spent the holiday weekend tiling the base of our fireplace. .Its been needed to be done for a few years now...
We have never tiled before and put it off...
BUT it almost finished now and it wasnt that hard...
All we have left to do is the edging and the grouting...
I have a few pictures of it...
Remember its a work in progress....
and Im afraid I never cleaned my fireplace window after our last use... My bad...

I also took a few photos of a friendly visitor I had this morning off my back deck....

Thanks for your comments. I love taking lots of photos, and this time we've got so many of Kerry and Becky and their new friends

Life is getting back to normal now. Becky went back to school yesterday, and Kerry is back at college today. The house is going to be very quiet without them

Hopefully I'll make a start on my trip report next week

What are your plans for today ? I'm taking my mum shopping this morning and then I'll probaby be running around after the girls later

Hi Mandy.

Can't wait to read your report.

I am off again for the weekend today.

We are leaving around 2pm and headed to Montreal.

It is a long drive, about 10 hours.

We normally would not go there for a competition but there is a couple who comes to all of the competitions in Ontario and we felt that it would be nice if we showed some support for THEIR competition.

So it's off we go.

We are taking the van and staying in a motel though because the airplane field is not big enough to have large trailers.

Staying in a motel will be a nice change.

So if I don't get back on again before I leave..... have a great weekend everyone.

How are you all today ? I hope you are all well. Thank goodness it's nearly the weekend. What are your plans ? are you doing anything nice ?

I think we've got a quiet one planned. Tonight, Paul & I are going to the wine bar for a couple of glasses of White Zinfandel, then tomorrow morning I'm meeting my friend Nat for a coffee and a wander around the shops, then on Sunday I hope we're going to a buffet restaurant for lunch

Robin - I hope you have a great weekend away. Enjoy the motel How is your mum ? I hope she is well

Betsy - How are your Hawaii plans coming along ? Have you booked it up now ?

Kelly - How are your New Year plans coming along ? Have you been able to book into the Pop Century ? I don't think we'll be able to join you on the Cruise this time. We did re-book another Cruise for next Summer (as we wanted to get the discounts), but as we were only in WDW for 8 days this time and 5 of those days were spent with Tropical Storm Fay, we felt like we really missed out on a lot ~ though if a little lottery win comes our way, then we may change our plans

Hello Ladies

I would LOVE to start making res's for hawaii, I cant get anything yet...it has to be within 330 days...So Im still....waiting
and we are starting to change some of the plans ....So...Im in perpetual planning mode...LOL Thats OK, I love the planning stage almost as much as the trips...

Well, we just today finished grouting our hearth...Now all we have to do is finish the wood floor around it, with trim! What is suppose to be a weekend job took us two...
Were not fast ..but we have fun doing it....

We are getting alot of rain today...(Thank You Hanna)..But its still alot warmer then we should be getting..We are also pretty dry here, ... We could use the rain....So its all good...

Going to go watch a movie with Mike ....
