I just spoke with him yesterday, he has a full time job at a department store in the western part of Virginia. He sounds like he is doing well!

Yay !! It's nearly the weekend

I'm pleased to report that when I weighed myself this morning, that I had lost 5lbs - I'm really pleased and hope that if I'm sensible (not much chance of that ) that I will aim to lose 1 or 2lbs a week now. Once the girls are back at school, I have decided to go for walks and try to get fit

Have you any plans for the weekend ? Betsy & Kelly are you doing anything nice for Labor Day (I'm not sure if Canadians have this - do you Robin ?)

Hi Mandy! Congrats on the weight loss

We are going to finish our back to school shopping tommorrow... just need to get thru tonite Carolin's "camp out" list has shortened to a total of 6 girls I can handle that better!!

We may try to go out on the boat on Sunday and Monday... but for the most part, I'm gonna try and relax!!

I have to go pick Carolin up so she can meet with her teachers and get her supply list! If I don't get to chat with you guys...

Yes Canada does have Labour Day on Monday too.

Rick is going to a competition this weekend, Liz is going camping with her boyfriend and his family, Alex is coming home sometime and I have plans to do too much work

Hopefully I will get it all done quickly and I can sit and relax the rest of the weekend.

I survived!!!

We had heavy rain pop up from time to time, so their camp out was canceled! Well maybe next time... (I need a few months to recover )

I love to walk...but havent done much this summer...Mike hasnt wanted me to go alone , since we saw the bear... ...So its been the treadmill if I wanted to walk...and thats too boring in the summer when I could be out enjoying the countryside....So Ive not been walking much...

I was doing really well on keeping my weight down......UNTIL yesterday , when we went out to eat for lunch....AND dinner....Now I have a few lbs...to loose...AGAIN

Well got to go get ready for the DGGs...

Good Sunday morning everyone.

I'm going out for brunch soon with Alex, his girlfriend and my mom.

Betsy, I did get everything on my list done yesterday. Of course there are tons of things I could do today and tomorrow but we will see about those later.

The weather here has been absolutely beautiful. No rain for days and none predicted until about Friday of this week. Nice warm temperatures (upper 70's) cooler evenings. I'm loving it.

I wish I were closer because I'd walk with you Betsy. The bear would see us two tasty morsels and probably want to eat both of us

Thanks!!! I think the girls are messier than the boys... it looks as though they had a marshmellow fight of some sort while they modeled just about all of Carolin's clean clothes...
