It was a very sad, but sweet memorial..alot of people got up and talked about how she effected there lives....It was a nice good-bye.

Betsy, hope that you all made it through the funeral okay today. Not a fun thing to do.

We waited a long time for our first TKer cruise so who knows, 09 might not be too far away

Hey 09 will be Rick's 50th birthday year, maybe we can celebrate with a Disney Cruise.

I drove to Toronto to pick up Alex (my son) today. He is here until early Sunday morning and then he has to go back to the north again. Oh well, by then I might be glad to get rid of him again

Sad news here today. There was a car accident on Monday and today I found out the the lady who died was one of Alex's former scout leaders. She was only 44. She was a very nice lady (a bit strange but nice), and was involved in tons of community organizations.

She will definitely be missed by many.

RIP Scouter Linda.

Now this sounds like a plan ......I DO think I'll wait a bit to share it with DH though. ..Dont want him to get overwelmed with Disney plans ....Ya got to spring things on them slow and easy like ...a little mention here and another little mention there.. .Kinda get them use to the idea...

This would be GREAT! ....Our dates are the 22nd-29th...If anyone could swing it...I'd love to meet up with you all!... AND on the 28th the MNSSHP is happening.....Im thinking of getting tickets for that....I read a little about it....But I want to find out more before I plan to buy the tickets...

Oh I wish I could join you all in September, but I really can't take the girls out of school (Kerry starts college in September) so I think we will probably go to WDW in late July/early August or over the Christmas/New Year holiday, and then we're thinking of taking a Cruise August '08 (fingers crossed)

Has anyone got any plans for the weekend ? The girls are off school for a week next week as it's half term, so I think they're looking forward to some lie-ins

I wish you could too,....I totally understand about not missing school....The only reason I can take my DGSs that time of year..is that they are homeschooled by their mother..So she makes the vacation times..

Maybe you can make the next trip in June/July of 08!?...It will be with my five DGDs.. which I'm sure will be very interesting...

I just booked flights to Orlando from March 8 to the 12th.

I'm also going to book a cruise on the Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas.

So I guess I will getting a little warmth and sunshine coming to my future

Robin - Lucky you, are you staying in WDW again ? (I'm soooo jealous) and whereabouts will your Cruise be taking you. I wish I could sort my husband out too, I can't get him to make his mind up about our next holiday. I know we're going back to WDW, but I want to know when - NOW !!!

The Sovereign of the Seas leaves from Port Canaveral and basically does what the Disney Wonder does. Sails to Nassau and to Royal Caribbean's private island, which I've not been to before.

Wish We could both go on our birthdays...as a matter of fact if we COULD go at that time ...Id be able to not only celebrate my Birthday with you (mine is on the 25th just five days(give or take a few years )after yours), But Mike and I could celebrate our 34th anniversary too..its the day before your birthday(19th)

Had a great time at the party...ALOT of kids
