7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hello everyone,
I hope all of you have a nice weekend.

From my last post, Kelly thought everyone might be confused when I put my daughter thought <------ looks like my husband. Just to be clear, it makes him happy to watch tv, and this is a picture of a smiley face watching tv. This is just an observation from my 8 yr old, but I don't want to be unclear about it.

Ok, I hope everyone got that.

Kelly is awesome, she always trys to help me not look dippy I am very lucky to have a sis like her!!!!

I have just had a telephone call from DCL, and guess what ??, we've been given a free upgrade from a Cat.6 to a Cat.5 and we are now on Deck 7

I was so excited while she was talking to me, and she told me that my tickets have been sent and that they'll have my new stateroom # on them

I'll be back in a bit when I've calmed down

Today the girls have got some friends sleeping over tonight, they've gone bowling this morning and then they're going shopping this afternoon. Hubby & I are hoping to go and see James Bond this afternoon. Tomorrow we're all going out to dinner with my mum and dad for a nice Christmas meal.

Speaking of party...Well not a party..but Mike and I are going out with some of our friends tonight to have dinner and go see "The Nativity"...Im really looking forward to it...Ive been wanting to see this movie for a while...

So Its been awhile since, I've really been on here, and I've sort of lost track of who is gonna be on the ship. I'm just wondering if there is anyone else around my age who will be going.. I'm 18, and a freshman in college! so let me know!

I figured I would pop in before I head off to take everything to the Christmas party for tonite. I missing Chad's game today , I hope they do well

Tommorrow, Carolin heads off with the girls on her squad to get ready for the Middle school cheerleading competition! I watched their practice yesterday and their routine looks awesome!

Everything is going well so far, the girls are having beauty treatments in the back room and eating enough chocolate to send them hyper.

We enjoyed the movie. We're not James Bond fans, but this new guy plays Bond much better than the original films, and it was wonderful not to see women swooning and say 'Oooh James' like they usually do

I hope Carolin enjoys her cheerleading competition, I hope she does well

Made my reservation for the night before the cruise.

We are staying at the Comfort Inn, Lake Buena Vista. We have stayed there before and it is okay. It's only one night and then off to the port



Does anybody have dinner reservations for the night of Jan 6? I was wondering how hard it was to get them. Since it seems all of the Disney resorts are pretty full, it must be fairly busy that weekend.

We had thoughts of eating at Boma (is that how you spell that ). Maybe it would just be easier to eat off site the night before the cruise and save Boma until after the cruise when it might not be as busy.

My dining plans for the 6th Jan are in the morning, when I'm celebating my birthday with Lilo & Stitch at the Poly. In the evening we'll be at Epcot

We will be in Epcot on the 6th also....We will be going to lunch at San Angels Inn in Mexco and meeting up with Mandy at the R&C...for drinks at 6PM,
But I have no plans for dinner...If you think youd be interested in having dinner in Epcot....We'd LOVE to meet up with you also...So give a shout out if you think youd be able to ASAP...and Ill make a res. .... any place you'd like...

Thanks for the invitation Betsy but I don't think we will be able to make it.

Our flight gets into Orlando about 5pm and by the time we get luggage and our rental car it will be too late. I wouldn't want to enter a park with our parkhopper passes so late in the day.

I was just thinking that most of the resorts seem to be booked up and the restaurants will probably be quite busy that night. Maybe we will just eat offsite
