Sea World sounds nice! Sometimes the best vacations are the ones that you just lay back and relax! Glad you had a great time :thumbsup:

I'm getting sooo aggravated with my DSL order! I was hoping to chat with you guys from home. My order was suppose to be ready yesterday, but my order was bumped because they had no available slots So... I had to place my order again, now I've got to wait until the 26th!

Robin ~ it sounds like you had a nice, relaxing vacation. Did you enjoy yourself at SeaWorld ? We haven't been for years, did you get to see the Sea Lion show ? Was it still Clyde & Seamore take Pirate Island ? I've already seen the show twice, so I am hoping that it has been changed.

You know, I wasn't really that impressed wtih Sea World this time. Seemed like there wasn't enough there to me

Mandy are you planning on going to Seaworld on your trip in January??

If so, we bought tickets online before we went. They had a promotion of adult admission for the price of a child's admission. You order your ticket and print it off at home before you leave. Then you just go straight to the gate and get in.

Robin ~ No we aren't planning on going to Sea World this time, especially now that they are still showing an old show. You'd think they'd update it every now and again. I'm the same when it comes to Sea World, I can take or leave it and I don't want to watch shows I saw 3 years ago again, though now I would probably be brave enough to ride Kraken.

Kelly ~ What's DSL, is it an internet provider ? Do you usually chat from work ? Well I look forward to the 26th, when hopefully we'll 'see' more of you ~ LOL

Yes ma'am! DSL is a type of internet connection, you don't have to wait for the "phone" to dial up your internet provider. It's much faster!

I do chat from work ! I work with DM, DD, DH, DMIL, one of my DSis... they don't mind me chatting as long as I get my work done! AND, they are just as excited about the cruise as I am, so I'm giving them very, very valuable info about the cruise

I have to share a funny story (that is also very un-funny) about my son.

This morning (or maybe last night) he managed to get into the garage and turn off the gas to our appliances.

THANK GOD he didn't hurt himself. BUt our water heater is another issue. That little guy's action caused a chain re-action and the pilot light won't stay lit. We've had a plumber out already today. . I don't know how much it's going to cost yet, but suffice it to say that it's not going to be cheap.

Now, addressing the issue of the garage. I really don't know when he got out there. Sometimes he's slow to get in the house, but he's never played with the water heater before...he just stops to look at DH's tools hanging on the peg board! He's all boy. He loves fixing things and I'm convinced he was only trying to help when he turned the knob!!!

You know kids....Just gotta love them,, because if ya didnt youd have to kill em.......J/K....Boy the things I did when I was a kid.... ...Ill not repeat those storys

I say! I sincerely believe in Guardian Angels! How else would I still be here? Mom has no clue, I think she would have passed out... like...

The time I went ice skating on a not so frozen pond, I remember the ice cracking under my feet (9 years old)

Sneaking off to ride the neighbor's palomino, bare back, no riding lessons or adult supervision (10 years old)

Taking a can of hairspray and lighting it with a lighter as I sprayed some of it (12 years old)

My gosh... it's scary what I don't know about my kids now thinking about this!

I remember once in college an unusual friend making a hairspray torch to kill a roach...I watched in awe as she took her lighter to the fumes and then pointed the whole thing at the wretched bug! SHe was 20! YOU WERE 12 -- only a hint of the adventuresome adult I assume? Nevermind your other stories confirm that.

I believe my son has a slew of Guardian Angels. (They are protecting our entire family!!)

Happy Day...Jan 7th is one day closer.

A very curious, dumb kid! But... I was the best kid of the bunch! Always home on time when I had a curfew! (hee hee... Paula, where are you to defend yourself?)

It took me a long time to get past the first parallel parking test.

I actually found that it is much easier to drive front first into the parallel spot rather than try to back it in

It wouldnt have taken me so long if I bothered to read the directions first...I kept thinking ...its in there ...then I figured out I was suppose to back in ...Uhhh...DUH

Hello you guys Well here I am first thing in the a.m. playing the car game while I'm waiting for some faxes to come in! I better go ahead and get to work

Carolin came home from practice and said she had "great news"! She's going to be a "flyer" in a stunt during next week's halftime! Doesn't she realize I'm an overprotective, paranoid mom! How could she do this to me?

Well I'm off to parallel park, the dog was lucky last game... I ran out of time
