Count me in :cool1: We stayed out late as well! It was a blast, the night club looked so cool!

Just be prepared, I like to drag people out on the dance floor! :rotfl:

Yikes, I love/hate to dance

I am a very terrible dancer :sad2:

I like to dance when I'm alone but not out in public.

:wave2: Morning everyone

I'm hoping some of you guys are going to hang out at night since my husband tends to go to bed early and I like to stay out later. It would be more fun to have someone to sit with ::yes::

We are hoping to go to the clubs, I love a good old boogie, I just hope we've got the stamina for it :rotfl: :rotfl: It will be fun if there are a few of us there :thumbsup2

This is just fine with me, because DH does not dance a lick...(well maybe if he in a great mood he'll slow dance with me)...But I really miss dancing...
I think when my oldest son got married I was on the dance floor the whole night... :cool1: ..
He keeps asking me if Im going to do the karaoke,:rotfl: ... :confused3 I told him that depends on a no. of things.....ie: who Im singing with, How many drinks Ive had, and whos got a camera on me :joker: ...( Im sure DH is going to be right there, video taping away :sad2: )

But, I am really looking forward to the clubs too... :cheer2:

Oh and DH and I were talking about Nassau, and I think we are going to just do the Atlantis for a little while, and then spend the rest of the time on the ship...relaxing...
Every other time we have gone on a cruise ....We have always felt like we had to go and do as much as we could....NOT very relaxing...
This time seeing how we will already have been to WDW for 4 days of running around, we just want to spend the time just chilling :smooth: and visiting with you all :thumbsup2

As long as you've got rythem (I didn't spell that right :guilty: ), which I'm sure you've got that since you tap, then you're good!

I can't dance, but that don't stop me  :rotfl:

I tell you Betsy, wild horses wouldn't be able to drag me up to sing at karaoke, but if you're entertaining us, then I'll definitely have my camcorder with me :rotfl: :rotfl:

We will be doing lots of relaxing on this cruise too, and I think we're going to need it if we're going to be clubbing ~ ooh I can't wait :thumbsup2

YEAH!! :cheer2: I'm glad I found a group of people who like to sing and dance (that reminds me of a Ray Stevens song; anybody heard of it?)! Dancing and singing, I don't care if I'm awful! I love to have fun

Good morning everyone! It's so neat to see this come together a little more! Yesterday, I got to call Disney with somemore passport numbers in my bunch!! :cool1: I've got two more left in my group to get straight, then our entire families passports will be registered!

Chatting with all you guys has made this countdown sooo much fun! I really can't wait to meet you all :grouphug:

Bean hole beans, must be a dish in the New England area... I haven't heard of it either. Share a recipe Wendy :goodvibes

How are the girls Mandy?

:lmao: We need her here! Someone who thinks out of the box, she might be a little to competitive though :lmao:

I love ABBA, mom played their 8 track in the car stereo all of the time! I'll be sure to move!

CW & I didn't get to stay in there at the same time :guilty: We went one night, I had to check on the kids at the OC so I told him I would meet him at the elevator. I forgot to say which one, we ended up walking in the same direction around the ship for about an hour missing each other.

I really don't know why one of us just wouldn't stay put. We kept walking back to the room, elevators, and finally the dance floor. I think we came to the conclusion that I was walking up the stairs by the pool deck when he was coming down the back one (someone was being a very sloppy, loud person by the pool).

When we finally met outside Wavebands, we were too tired to dance :sad2:

8-track in the car stereo!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Randall's passport can't be processed til I send out a different check. I made out the checks at the P.O. when I sent his paperwork out the first time. The girl told me the old amount...$40, not the new amount, $52. So my check came came back stamped incorrect amount. I'm having some issues with my checking account this week & last week. The bank says I have $2500 less than I say I have. Trying to get that settled, so now I need to get a cashiers check or money order to send out instead. Don't want to mess with that account any more than possible. If it was $100, I'd just figure I made a math error or something, but this is ridiculous. We've sent out 3 more passports since Randall's....sure hope they told me the right amount on those!

As far as the beanhole beans go, I'll have to get back to you on that. We don't eat them, so I don't make them. I know you need a special bean pot though, and they cook, actually they simmer, in a hole in the ground! My sister makes the, so I'll check it out!

I'll keep my eyes :3dglasses open for the recipe!

Wow :scared1: , that's a big amount to dispute!! :wizard: Good luck with resolving that and Randall's passport! It always seems like there's something to deal with! Good luck again :wizard:

It's after 10:30...Ithink I'll go have a snack.....canteloupe(I can never spell that word!) Then I'm off to pick paint colors for the apartment. Eric made it kind of hard for me as he purchased the flooring without my input. A customer ordered some laminate flooring that was stained green, you can see the wood grain still, but it is GREEN! He couldn't send it back because it was a special order so instead of it being a loss for the company, he decided we could use it in the apartment. He's really limiting my color choices with a green floor, and he told me he wants all the trim white instead of natural like I was thinking.....any wall color suggestions? There's a living/dining/kitchen area that I was thinking of a clay color. The cabinets will be a light wood and the backsplash area will be stainless steel. I'm trying to keep everything light because there aren't many windows. There is also 1 bedroom and a bathroom/laundry room. The green floor will be everywhere. I may do the bathroom a pale yellow and put botanical prints in there, I think they will tie the green & yellow together nicely, what do you guys think? I'm up in the air about the bedroom, I don't mind this room darker,....I'm looking for serene in this room....maybe a nice muddy brown or something. Eric calls this our guest house....Kayla calls it....HERS!! :lmao:

I googled bean hole beans and found this, I will still ask for my sisters recipe as she is a pretty good cook. My brother in law makes them too, but I know he won't share the recipe...it's some family secret thing. People inherit their grandmothers bean pot around here! :confused3 :confused3 Anyway, it'll give you guys an idea of what they are.

The ideal pot for full flavor is a cast iron kettle with a lid (often referred to as a Dutch oven). If you don't have one and can't borrow one, any sturdy pot with a lid will do.

1. Dig a hole in the ground large enough to hold the pot with two or three inches of clearance on all sides, and at least six inches of clearance on top.

2. Build a fire in the hole with dry firewood and let it burn down to large embers and ash while preparing the beans.

3. Parboil two quarts of dry beans until the skins wrinkle. Drain off the fluid.

4. Slice a large onion and place half of the slices in the bean bean pot.

5. Pour in half of the beans.

6. Add another layer of sliced onion and several large slabs of salt pork or bacon.

7. Add the remaining beans.

8. Measure one cup of dark molasses and pour over the top of the beans.

9. Add enough water to cover the beans.

10. When the fire has burned down in the bean hole, shovel out enough of the embers and ashes to make room for the pot, and place the pot in the hole.

11. Place a wet dish towel over the top of the uncovered pot and push the lid securely down over the cloth.

12. Place embers and ashes around the sides and on top of the pot, then cover these with the dirt you removed when you dug the hole.

Cook for approximately 6 hours for absolutely delicious beans.

Serves approximately four.

Note: Many foods have enhanced flavor when cooked in a hole in the ground in this manner. If you dig the hole in an appropriate place, you can continue to use it for outdoor cooking.

Maybe a skin tone color like beige; then put differ things in there kinda greenish to pull it all together :confused3

Best of luck to ya!!

This could be your's & Eric's getaway too! So make that bedroom romantic, browns were suggested in the past to me with off-white candles everywhere! I did our bedroom in a desert sand color with palm trees and a mahogany (sp?) wood. It's our tropical paradise :lmao:

Hi Guys

I've been really good and I did my work out video yesterday and this morning. I have also mowed the grass in my front and back garden today, so fingers crossed I will have lost a pound or 2 by Friday.

Wendy ~ the green laminate floor sounds nice, especially with the way you describe the rooms, if you feel it's a bit much, you can always break it up with a rug or two

I also hope you manage to sort out your discrepancy with the Bank, it must be very frustrating, especially as it's such a large sum

Kelly ~ the girls are great thanks, Kerry is enjoying her new TV/DVD and yesterday she had the new Scrubs Season 4 DVD delivered, so I haven't seen them much ~ but I can hear them laughing :rotfl:

I've also never heard of an 8 track, is that like a tape cassette ?? Though I loved the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack too

I love to watch dance shows too. I think Strictly Come Dancing starts back over here next month (like your Dancing with Stars, have you had your final yet ? I watch E News occassionally and they were saying that Mario Lopez is doing really well ~ is he favourite to win ?)

Mandy :)

Fingers crossed! :goodvibes It's a great feeling when you stick to a routine :teeth:

Glad to know the girls are doing well. The 8 track tapes came out before the cassette tapes but they are kinda the same except the 8 track is much bigger

Dancing with Stars is just in it's 2nd week with Tucker Carlson being the first to go home! Mario Lopez seems to be the young girl's fav over here, alot of them say his dimples are to die for  But he is a great dancer, so I think he'll do well. I love Joey Lawrence, I had a crush on him when he was in the show "Blossom"

It's funny how things are different with the shows between here and there. Are you a "Lost" fan? Our season 3 starts on Oct 4th, can't wait to see where it picks up with the "others"!!
