7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

I love those names, especially Carly! That one doesn't get used much! Chad was saying that he didn't like his name, he's the only Chad in school! But I know I named him well, Chad means warrior!

When Carolin heard him say that, she piped up that she didn't like hers either. That is until I told her that alot of princesses are named Carolin. I know I spelled it funny, it was the epidural still in my system.

I think all kids go through a stage where they don't like their name, I wanted to change my name to Courtney when I was in Jr High. Cora likes her name! I don't know how I managed that one, but then she's only 5. We also considered the name Caroline had we had another after Cora, but that ended quickly after we saw the movie The Green Mile. At the beginning of the movie, the two little girls that are murdered....Cora and Caroline! So my DH thought he'd like Libby or Merrill (I'd spell Maril for his mother named Marilyn) My Great grandmothers last name was Libby and my husbands grandmothers maided name was Merrill. As for boys, we couldn't decide between Charlie or Samuel, Charles being DH's grandfathers name and DH's middle name. We have a lot of great family names, but I can't have anymore kids Just as well, I couldn't have fit another kids activities in my schedule! Can you imagine if Randall had been Carly, we'd have Kayla, Carly, Cora and our dog...Cooper! That might have been too much, ya think?

Wendy> That's creepy! I never caught that at the beginning. That part always bothered me, I try to avoid seeing it... Well at our house, I'm the oddball! We have Clarence (he goes by CW), Chad, Carolin, & Kelly! Our pets throw us way off though: Ellie Mae, Gunner, Jasmine, & Rubbit

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed today...it's days like today that make me look forward to OUR cruise all the more. I also think it's fun that I get to have a little more cruise right here -- just getting to know people I wouldn't normally have the opportunity to meet.

My oldest daughter's room is painted in our new house (L. Thornton, we haven't moved in yet.) She choe a very festive blue color -- very bright blue -- ta-da blue. At first I was a little overcome by it, but it;s growing on me It's very artsy

My younger's daughter is also being painted --lillac. She's 5. It will look great. She started kindergarten this week and her teacher is trying out for American Idol this weekend. They are hosting a tryout in Birmingham (where we're from) Wouldn't it be fun for the kids if she made it!!! But I also think that means we'd loose our teacher (oh no!)

Okay, back to work I go -- HI HO HI HO HI HO HI HO I'm a GREAT whistler!

...My LIFE is overwhelming That why Im going on this cruise and the reason I love WDW so much....It takes me away from my life for a bit

The rooms sound like they will be great for kids!
and please let us know if the teacher is picked...I normally dont watch the show...but if there was somebody on there I knew of...Id watch for sure...

Hey there cruisers! Sorry I missed ya'lls posts, DH's grandmother passed away late Wed nite... we knew it was gonna happen but it's still hard. She has been bedridden for awhile so she's at peace now! Tonite and tommorrow are gonna be tough for them, but with all the love & faith they have... they will get thru it fine! They are a great family

Jennifer~ We did our DD's room in lilac. She loves Belle so we decorated with lilac, yellow, and ivy green colors with white furniture. I didn't think it would turn out great but to our suprise it looks very princessy. We also found the perfect picture to hang on her wall

Betsy~ DH's came in yesterday, it's great to see that again we are another step closer to the cruise! His only took 4 weeks though, pretty suprising! I guess the time I filed was a busy time for passports Hope your grandbaby is doing well!

Robin~ Hello Mrs. Dancing Queen! Hope you are doing well! How many days are you going to be staying in FL? I know you've got to be excited (Hmmm, the banana smilie is the only smilie frozen on the board? We've got a frozen banana smile! Where's my chocolate?) Anywho... are you still going to dance rehearsel?

I'm finally home after a fantastic two weeks in Orlando, we had great weather and the Pop was brilliant too

Welcome back. 2 weeks sounds great.

The rooms turned out wonderfully and I'm glad to have the painting done. The purple is really fun. My little one will love it!!!! They have wanted their own rooms for so long...it's nice to be able to do this for them.


I still haven't touched the passport stuff yet. NEXT WEEK I HAVE TO!

DCL has offered some delightful Travel Agent rates for the fall...I hate that I can't go. MY DH teaches college... i just don't have that flexibility. I hope they don't offer any specials on our cruise because I'm paying regular rates!!! And by the time they offered specials, It would be too late to cancel. Oh Well, it won't matter...we'll be on a DISNEY CRUISE

I just bought our plane tickets on SW! We can get to Orlando...we just can't book the return trip yet. booking is only open through January 9th! I'll just stay with Mickey and never return! I bet it will be another month before I can book the return flight.

I'm going on a cruise...I'm going on a cruise OH and YOU are too Each little thing I do makes it seem more real. I am really looking forward to our DCL vacation.

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I'm absolutely shattered, and suffering a little with jet-lag but thankfully all my washing is done and my special Disney tops have been put back in my suitcase ready for our next trip

Robin ~ I'm so jealous that you are off to the Pop, have you been before? it is such a cool resort, I hope you have a great time, how long are you going for ?

It's great to see that everyones passports are coming through, I'm starting to get very excited about the cruise now (and I'm even thinking about Christmas now ~ LOL) and I may pay off my balance this week as the exchange rate is pretty good

We have been looking at Pirate stuff when we were away, we've tried on loads of Pirate hats and taken a few pictures so we can decide which ones to get before the Cruise. I think me & Paul will have the Mickey and Goofy ones (I'll wait to see what Paul wants, then get the other one for me) and Becky may have a Stitch one, so there's only Kerry to sort out which one she wants

I'm hoping to do a trip report for the UK boards, so when I start it I will let you know and I'll post some piccies on it too

We are only going for a short stay, 4 nights in total.

This will be my 5th visit to the Pop Century.
