According to the opening page of the Disney Cruise Line website, you have to notify them of your passport numbers at least 75 days before the cruise.

Been absent but thinking of all of you, can't wait for the cruise!!! Been chipping away $$ on ours. SWHNN and I are still trying to decide on staying at WDW before or after or both??

DH and my Alaskan cruise was great (can't remember if I posted since I've been back).

It's actually kind of fun and I'm totally amazed with myself that I can actually get up on a stage in front of hundreds of people and dance You can take my word for it that I'm definitely NOT a natural dancer

Good luck next Saturday, hmm... I wonder if I could use your dance recital as an excuse to get out of a road trip with DH.... He found out he has lymes disease (again!) and he's been pretty grumpy from time to time.

Poor thing, I do feel bad for him! He feels sooo miserable

Hi Ann! I've collected addresses from some of us who have been sending letters, postcards, gifts (small ones like pencils, pens, stuff from our own area) and some disers have gotten door signs for the upcoming cruise....

It's just another way to get to know each other b4 the cruise! Just PM me if you would like to attach your name and keep an eye out for things in the mail!

Your poor husband, lyme disease doesn't sound like fun.

About a week ago or so Liz had a bite on her arm with a big red ring around it. She showed it to the doctor but he didn't think it was a problem. She put some benadryl cream on it and it went away the next day. Could of been a spider bite of some kind I suppose.

Hmmm, I suppose you could take a trip up here for the recital.

If you are interested I get a DVD of the recital at some point in the summer and last year it made the rounds of my threadkiller friends, who just HAD to see me dance That DVD went from Chicago to Florida and made a few stops in between before it returned home to me

Wow- I had 7 pages to catch up on!!
First of all I'd like to start off by voting Kelly for Miss Congieniality!! It was good to actually "hear" your voice!!
It has been a busy May and June. Cora graduated from preschool in May and has been going crazy since. She would go to school all year if it was possible...more on that later! Then Kayla had her graduation party, then she graduated high school and now she's left for California for a week with her health occupations classmates. I don't think our summer will be any calmer as Randall is starting a new TKD class of Weds. and in the middle of July he'll be starting a martial arts weapons class. Randall and Cora will be each doing a soccer clinic the end of July and this Saturday Randall will compete in another martial arts tournament. (I;m too chicken!)
Now, I have a question for everyone, Has anyone heard of the Sylvan Center. It's like a tutoring center. Randall is headed on Wed for diagnostic testing. He needs help in reading and writing. I don't know anyone around here who has taken thier children, so I'm a little nervous. They are an hour away and we'll be going 1day/wk for 3 hrs each day. Cora wants to go to, so I may have her go as well to, although she is already working well above grade level. She wants to learn so I think we should take advantage of that while she has that attitude. Anyway, any info reguarding the Sylvan center would be greatly appreciated!!

Okay, now that I have caught you all up on my exciting life.....

Cruisin- Thanks for the PM. It's nice to know that there are people out there who genuinely care. With all that goes on in the world these days and how careful we all have to be in giving information out.... it's nice to know there are people who just enjoy each others company with no alterior motives. Makes me happy!!
SWHNN- glad you had a great trip to NY. I have never been there. Can't talk DH into it. We used to go to Boston, but the last time we were there was when the 9/11 bombers were there. They came in from Maine, and we very well could have been on the subway with them. After Boston we headed to Providence, and we found out later they did too!!! Kind of makes you think! But soo glad you were able to enjoy it. Just the though of ground zero makes my eyes well up!!
Tinknutt- Alaskan cruise sounds awesome. DH and I plan on crusing everywhere when he retires in about 15 yrs or so. I have a list and Alaska is tied for second with the Panama Canal, and just behind a Disney Mediterranean!! How was the weather? and excursions?
Kelly- Wow, your daughter got 9 awards, congrats to her on her hard work and to you, that;s quite a testimonial to your parenting skills!! I'm still trying to get Randall to get through a day and not say "I hate school, it's stupid, whoever invented school is stupid, do I have to go?"
Mandymouse- glad to see your still posting away!!! You are sooo dedicated to this thread. You and kelly both are quite an inspriation.

Thunderstorm headed our way, and I don't try to stay online during those , I even turnoff the sometimes even unplugg them. Am I afraid? I wouldn't admit it outloud, I don't want the kids to be afraid, but I do want them to be nervous of them.

I have heard of the Sylvan Center but I can't tell you anything at all about it I've seen advertisements for it on tv though.

I just checked the phone book and there is one in our city too. Hmm, the things you never knew about your own town

I hope they can help Randall out so that he sees school in a more positive light.

just a quick hello. summer seems busier than the school year. DD is away at Univ of FL all week for a softball camp then next week she begins her dual enrollment college class. one of the boys has begun conditioning for football. work is crazy busy - it appears that our library has become the summer hang out.
