dave and monica- glad to hear you guys made it back from Hawaii safely.
I, too, will be sending a few things ahead to the ship. My son is on a high fiber, high calorie diet and he's a bit picky at times. He also has some medical supplies that take up alot of room so I'll send some of those ahead too. I am excited about seeing your room. Did you book the suite for the med cruise too? ;)

Hi Sunny! Yes, we did manage to get three suites for the Med. cruise. We have a Cat. 2 for the Repositioning cruise, the Roy Disney Suite for the first 11 day and a Cat. 2 for a 11 day cruise in July. We are excited and look forward to the repo and the first 11 day!

Susan, the cruise has their own refillable beer mug...

I bought one the first night. It holds the equivalent of 1 and a half beers for $3.50 a pop.

Oh Yeah! They have a hair salon...

2 of my friends had their hair done for Christmas dinner/Formal night. I did my own but had no bling! I checked the shops, they only had princess hair ribbons. I was gonna ask my girlfriend's daughter if I could borrow something but it turns out she brought nothing for me to borrow. So I walked into the salon, saw my girlfriends get their hair finished up and then the hairdresser told me to sit in the chair. She had a whole basket of bling for me to choose from. I picked out a beautiful diamonique barret, she fixed my curls (defrizzed it a bit,) did a wrap to hide my hairtie added my bling and topped it off with a little glitter.

~All for the cost of the barrett and a tip...they were super sweet and accomodating~

I always recommend books if you want all the details...

I swear by Birnbaum's official guide to disney. Get the cruise book. I also used the passporter, it was great for details and personal reviews of excursions and such. They gave me soooo much more information than I would've gotten from anywhere else or on my own.

Anyone able to go to PA in July?

In my signature is the details of a fan meet I am helping to organize. We're meeting in Allentown PA on July 15th. It's an all day function (11 to 6) and includes many guests that have written all about disney. WDW Trivia, Mouseplanet, WDWIG, Hidden Mickey's author...check it out if you haven't, register in the link if you'd like to know more ;)

...ok, I've rambled enough...

TTFN,

colleen.

Lucky yes :cheer2: Especially with this snow on the ground today ;)

Too much work to do at home though with the kitchen remodelling but heck it'll get done eventually.

I'm looking forward to getting away.

Not too much longer for you either.

A question:

Are we still going to get the red/white/blue Mickey bracelets? If so I'll have to look for one if I get near a Disney store. Hoping to get to Downtown Disney at least, maybe some resort stores :confused3

Robin,
If you dont get one when you are there...let me know and Ill pick one up for you when I get mine....If we are still doing that :teeth: ...

We will have to check into the tour of the island...via cab....
I wonder how much they would charge....
But Id really like to see more of the island then what you can see with "tour co.'s" or excurisions....
I have a book on Nassau from our last cruise...I wonder if they have anything in it...Ill have to dig it out and take a look....

Colleen, that is such a cute picture

Robin what are your plans for your upcoming vacation ??

Everyone else :wave2: Hi, I hope you are all OK

Mandy, we are flying into Orlando on Saturday, April 22 and renting a car. We are travelling with an older couple (the husband is 84). We are going to deliver them to a timeshare near Lakeland Florida and then my husband and I are returning to Orlando to stay at the Comfort Suite Lake Buenavista for 4 nights.

We got a great rate there of $47 for the first three nights and 44 for the fourth. We are going to do some resort hopping at Disney and maybe Downtown Disney. We also have plusses left on our hopper passes and are going to check out the waterparks. We usually go in January and it's not generally warm enough then. Then whatever else we find to do to fill in the time.

On Wednesday we are moving over to Lakeland Florida area for a remote control model airplane competition. While we are over there we plan to go to Cypress Gardens and maybe a few other smaller places. Most of the time will be taken up with the airplane event.

We fly back with the older couple on Monday May 1. We are travelling with them so that they can get to the airplane competition easier and more stressfree.

It will be a different type of Florida vacation but we are looking forward to it.

It all sounds very relaxing...

THe porthole shots are some of my favorite. You can get a different foreground and background depepnding on which part of the ship you are in.

I wish I'd done a silouhette with mickey ears tho...being a disney cruise and all I think that should've been a requirement and I missed it ;)

Next time eh? <---noted for you Robin :rolleyes1

:magnify: Hi everybody! I feel like I'm in another world right now!

Wendy... I read back and saw my name mentioned a few times! Hey back at ya girl! And we are going to do the banana boat thing definately!

Robin & Betsy...So far as I know, Mandy's gang and mine are the only ones who have the red, white, and blue bracelets. If everyone else can grab them to help identify each other right away, it will be sooo cool! :smooth:

I miss chatting with all you guys! I will be in touch more next week!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Take care! :grouphug:

P. S. :cheer2: :cheer2: Less than 9 mos! (I was a wee bit late on that  )
