Have fun at the concert!! :hyper: My DD was up at the crack of dawn singing Because of you! We hope to catch KC in concert when she gets in our area! My DD has a soccer game Sunday, DS has a bye this week so my tushy only has to suffer thru 1 game on the bleachers :headache:

I'm up for dressing up a wee bit! I'll have to check different sites to get ideas, probably we'll dress from the waist up! pirate:

I hope to see Capt Jack :p

Morning all,

Snow here....

It was quite a few years ago and on RCCL and CCL , not DCL ...but :scratchin

We have done the Dolphin Encounter, and went to Trunks Bay in St Thomas VI...and
DH and I did as Robin and family did, for Atlantis..Just got a water taxi and looked around for awhile..very cool place!...Pools look wonderful too...

Cant remember the name of it, but we did a thing where you go into an underwater viewing building in Nassau ...I remember handfeeding the stingrays there too... :confused3 That was fun :teeth:

I think thats it....

Oh and as for this weekend...No plans, except DM is going to stay with my DSis for the weekend so DH and I will be alone :teeth:

and Oh yeah...
pirate: pirate night...I might do something for it... I dont think DH will...but who knows he may surprise me

I probably won't dress up for Pirate Night. I will wear the headscarf for dinner and maybe put it around my wrist for later.

My husband won't even put the scarf on :sad2: What a party pooper he is :(

Sunny -
Your DS sounds like my DD. She is 8 1/2 and still under 50 pounds. She has very long legs which makes buying pants near impossible. I'm really looking forward to the shorts/Capris season.

We won't do any excursions. Long, long ago on Carnival we went snorkeling in Nassau, which was fun. Last Disney Cruise we left the ship for about 1 hours, bought some trinkets and went back for a movie and the pools. On CC, my husband parasailed last time. He enjoyed it, but doesn't feel the need to go again. I may look into the rays, we'll see.

We'll dress for pirate night. Last time we had eye patches, earrings and the kids had cutlasses as well. This time may be a little more for a few of us, as DH and DD are going to a father-daughter pirate party this year and dad wants the full Jack Sparrow treatment. Should be fun.

It is difficult to buy pants for Randall too. Not because he's tall, just soooo skinny. He has toothpick arms and every rib bone and vertebrea stick out. I love that Gap and TCP put out a slim cut that still has the adjustable waistband inside the waist. Hard to buy gym pants though. My DD is pretty much the opposite. Not chunky, but not skin and bones. Funny thing is, they look just alike.

OOooOOhhHHhh....Jack Sparrow....... :worship:

I'm bring the two youngest full pirate gear as we have them for halloween costumes anyway. As for the rest of us adults, I may go waist up, DH will wear something on his head and maybe a plastic earring or eyepatch, DD(17),
(aka; kay_06) she probably won't dress up, I'm sure she'll check this and comment about it, then I'll know for sure., and D M-I-L, She won't dress up either, but that's okay, they won't be embarrassed by the rest of us, I think they'll enjoy it.

Mornin' all! Every day we pass is a milestone for me! I'm just too darn gone excited! :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm waiting for an update on a cool concert, hint hint..... :coffee:

Kelly Clarkson Concert

The concert was really good. We were in block 5, so when we took some photos they were just too blurry (which was a bit disappointing). Kelly has got a wonderful voice live and she sang her hits brilliantly especially 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' and ' Since You've Been Gone' and she did a great version of Annie Lennox's (Eurythmics) 'Why'. The girls had a great time and DH's wallet had a cardiac arrest when buying a couple of T-Shirts (£24 ea/$38ea).

The support group were The Faders, who I thought were very good, they came on around 7.30pm and finished 8.10pm. Kelly came on around 8.30pm and finished just before 10pm and thankfully we were home for 10.30pm.

Overall verdict, the girls thought she was brilliant, DH & I thought she was good, (but not as good as Avril Lavigne) :)

Mandy

Mandy, I'm glad that you all enjoyed your concert.

And almost down under the 300 day mark too :thumbsup2

Hello everyone! My wife and I will be joining you on this cruise. We booked it in January when we were aboard the Wonder. We hope to learn more about everyone and meet them on the ship. My wife is 31 and I am 34. Although we don't have any children, we love DCL. Let us know if we can assist with any type of meet. We will be in cabin 8030 and may spend some time at Disneyworld prior to the cruise.

Well, hello Disneynut1955 and welcome aboard.

We are glad to have you and your wife joining us.

My husband and I have sailed with Disney Cruise Line without children several times and we still love it.

Disneynut, I was just looking at your signature. That is an impressive list of Disney Cruises.

Hey can we all come over and check out your cabin :thumbsup2 That's probably the only way I'll ever see that category of cabin ;)

This will be our 8th Disney Cruise. We have done only 3 or 4 day cruises only one was onboard the Magic, the others were all on the Wonder.

Do you only cruise with Disney or have you cruised with other lines?
