Hey Robin :wave2:
How are you this fine evening?

Im sitting here trying NOT to eat until Mike gets home...
He should be home around 7:30 so not much longer.. :hourglass

Hi Betsy.

I'm listening to the thunder outside.

It's been booming for a couple of hours now but no real rain has come with it yet.

I had hot dogs for supper. Yummy, super nutritious, I know :p

Good Morning everyone (well it's the middle of the night for you)

It is pouring down with rain here, there has been thunder in the night and this morning is really yucky

I hope you have a better day with you today

Mandy :umbrella:

Rain, rain everywhere! At least it's not windy and cold, yet  I like the sound of the rain hitting the tin roof outside my office door :goodvibes

Guess what!! We've got about 24 more days left until we can start reserving our shore excursions :cool1: It'll be neat to be at the 90 day countdown too!! :cheer2:

:cheer2: HAPPY "THREES" TO YOU ALL :cool1:

THREE months, THREE weeks, and THREE days!

Truely a RED letter day! :rotfl:
:hourglass :hourglass :hourglass :hourglass :hourglass :hourglass

So very true! I am crossing my fingers that I get a good report from Chad's teachers at the PTA meeting tonite... He says that school is great, homework is being done, and so far... no negative issues from teachers! We've been through alot in the past, it would be great to have a year with hardly any drama :goodvibes

Sounds just like Randall. We've been waiting for him to have that wonderfully patient kind teacher that would forever be remembered by us the the one who changed Randall's attitude about school and therefore changed his life. Think that 's too much for us to expect from a teacher? :rotfl:

Hi Wendy :teeth:

:goodvibes
Personally, I think they should all be that way! I see some teachers who just are totally abnoxious to kids, it really makes me :furious: . Then I do see a flip side where kids are on the other side of the fence, I get so frustrated!

We did get a good report from all the teachers though! Knock on wood! :p

OMG! Are you married to MY DH?.....I cant get him on a plane either...and I LOVE to fly..and HATE to drive, but guess what we do every year!
Yup...Drive 18 hrs. to Fla.

Ive always wanted to go to HI. :cloud9: ...I keep telling him Im going to slip him a mickey(not the mouse :rotfl2: )..and put him on the plane.
Then after we get there I wont have to worry, :goodvibes because he wont get on the plane :lmao: and we could live there forever  :cheer2:
Eric doesn't like flying at all either, but the thought of He and I and the 3 kids in the car for who knows how long (took us 9 hrs to get to Scranton + your estimated 18 hrs?! ) scares him even more. We won a trip to Cancun two yrs ago through his work and he gave the trip to another employee because he didn't want to fly. We had an opportunity to earn a week at Atlantis Resort in the bahamas through a buyers incentive program through his work but then he decided a gangster tour of Boston with Radio personality Howie Carr was a better idea and Eric figured he'd sweeten the deal by allowing me to pick the hotel we stayed at in Boston(Hotel @ MIT), all so we could drive to our destination instead of fly to Nassau. Yup, if it's just him and I, we take long weekends in New England(Inn at Essex, Essex, Vermont, home of New England Culinary Institute or NECI for short) so we can drive there and back, but the threat of the kids arguing in the back seat all the way, the fact that Kayla and I both get car sick, and the fact that Eric feels like he HAS to be the one driving....Well, it all adds up to us flying in January!! :teeth:

I think boys from 9-14 really have so much going through thier heads. I mean, they go from playing with plastic army men to liking girls. It's a lot for them, then if by chance they have some sort of issue such as ADHD, a physical handicap or just don't fit in with their peers, it's even more difficult for them. Glad to hear that Chad seems to be doing well at school. Sounds like he's growing into a responsible young man. Good Job!! :thumbsup2

We bought a van last month. It didn't come with the dvd entertainment system, so CW said to make sure we do that asap!! This was in preparation for the cruise  He wasn't looking forward to the drive! Now he is... we popped in the POTC dvd and drove up to Maryland. Not a peep, plus Chad is looking forward to hooking his PS2 up to the system! A great investment :thumbsup2
