Hello everyone!

Mikes off to pick up some pizza, the elder DGGs went with him...So I had a min.to say hey!

We had a productive day here. Did some finish work on the inside of the house that had needed to get done...It looks good!

I guess they will just have to understand if you can't go.

They don't have any other choice, do they

We didn't get there. I kept Cora in Saturday and Sunday she seemed much better. We headed to the apartment to "stain" the inside walls of the garage, and she brought her bike and sled and a few other things to keep her busy either in the apartement, the garage or outside. She really wore herself out, took a 3 hr nap then woke up with hives!! She was fine on monday and so I sent her to school. She was there maybe 2 hrs and had hives so they called me. I had gone to the city shopping so Eric picked her up and kept her for me. I couldn't get her into the dr until Tuesday evening, so she couldn't go back to school until Wednesday. She has since taken 2 doses of benadryl successfully. She stopped getting hives on Thursday. We don't know what caused them.
Thursday Eric bought me a new vehicle ...or at least a new to me car!! When I purchased my last car it happened to be a program car and we had amazing luck with it. I was ready to buy a brand new GMC Acadia, and I kinda fell into a Mercury Torrent for half the money and only 14,000 miles, so it's still got a lot of warrenty time left!! It doesn't ride as nice as the Acadia, but this way I can save for that trip in September. (oh, Robin, Radiance of the Seas, I think!)
As soon as I get batteries, I'll take pictures of the car and the apartment. We are now starting the fun stuff...the decorating. Our apartment will be completely furnished. It's really only available temporary....We don't really want any new full time neighbors, no offense to anyone, we just like our privacy.
Well, getting late. I just wanted to pop in and thank everyone for their concern for Cora and let you all know how she's doing.

I'm so pleased that Cora is better, though sorry to hear that she suffered with hives, I've only ever had it once and it was so uncomfortable ~ so bless her

And it's great to hear that you'll be taking that Cruise, that's something to look forward too
