:cheer2: :cheer2: It's the weekend at last :cheer2: :cheer2:

We haven't got anything planned, so hopefully we'll just have a nice, quiet and relaxing one :thumbsup2

Have a good day everyone

Mandy :)

Morning everyone.

Guess I'm down to the crunch today.

Better get those suitcases out and packed since we are leaving home about 5pm.

First we have to go to a surprise birthday party dinner for a friend.

It's kind of funny because this friend is also going on the cruise. We had planned on having dinner together near/at the hotel by the airport. Her husband has decided at the last minute to throw together a little dinner surprise for her. So I told her that we had something come up and couldn't get to Detroit until later that maybe we should eat in town before we leave :p She turns 40 tomorrow.

Well, should be getting some work done. Stop in later to say goodbye. :wave2:

:grouphug: HI everyone

Jennifer, happy to hear your settling in your new place.

Mandy, I put up a real tree just after Thanksgiving. I'm trying to decide if I should put it up before since DS is coming home!! :woohoo: He'll be back in Va on the 18th after 6+mos out to sea with the USN.

This weekend DH and I are headed to the Wilderness RV resort for 3 nights!!

Robin have a great time on the cruise, take pics.

I'm so excited about the cruise!! And I'll meet on the beach CC!! :Pinkbounc

Chat more later :grouphug:

Hi Robin - what ?? you haven't started your packing yet ?? I think you're going to be one busy girl today. Have fun at your meal this evening and of course have a fantastic cruise

Hi Susan - It sounds like you're going to have a fun time in your RV at WDW, are 'the sisters' going to be getting together while you are down there.

I think it would be a great idea to put your tree up early for your sons return before Thanksgiving, your home will be lovely and festive for him

Have a lovely weekend

Mandy :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We're putting together our plans for Christmas. Santa needs a budget that considers two house payments! Fortunately we've always been modest at Christmas...so the kids really won't notice. I'm just going to have to be thrifty! :goodvibes (gotta save some $$ for cruise gifts!)

I have a 3 year old, 5 year old and 8 year old. The two oldest are girls. Any suggestions for santa present (1 big present, last year each got a bike.)

Thanks for any suggestions. I'm spinning my wheels.

I love the holidays!

jennifer

Hi Jennifer

When my two DD's were younger, they were totally different. Kerry (the eldest) never played with toys, but loved arts and craft stuff whereas Becky loved toys till she was about 10. A couple of years ago they had a Playstation2 with dance mats between them with the usual books, CD's and DVD's. Thankfully it has been a lot easier this year as they had money towards IPOD's, Kerry had her TV/DVD player and they'll get their usual bits and pieces to go with them

Have fun shopping for them

Mandy :)

thank you. i've been putting off getting a play station, but there is that playschool video game system I've considered. We do not have cable tv or at our new house so DVDs are a great choice for all of us.

thanks. I really want to get on it this week!

Hey guess what :cheer2:

I have my packing finished :p

The last load of towels is in the dryer. I still have some dishes to wash and to have a shower myself. But overall I'm in great shape to be ready to leave by 5ish.

I'm pleased that you are packed with time to spare ;) Have a fantastic time, and it'll be great to hear from you from the Caribbean

Have fun and a safe journey

Mandy :)

Well, I'm off soon.

There's a good chance that I will be checking in while I'm away. :surfweb:

Gotta keep up with the happenings here :p

Till next time

Woohoo !! It's 6 Weeks Til Christmas

Yesterday I bought a lovely dress for the Cruise, I know that most of the time we can be be quite casual in what we wear, but I just love to get dressed up

 Good morning cruisers! Hope everyone is doing well!

We had a very busy weekend working on our unfinished room in between a district football game, soccer practice and church events!! Hopefully we will get the room finished by this weekend :smooth:

Mandy!!! What a gorgeous dress!! I've been hoping to find the perfect "little black dress"! I think they are so classy looking, and like you I love to dress up for our formal nite. All our guys (I think they all did) wore a suit and tie for the formal dinner. They looked soo handsome!

Hey Guys :wave2:

Kelly - Glad that your room is coming along well, it'll be good timing if you get it finished before Thanksgiving

I love getting dressed up for dinner on the Cruise, I think I'll wear that dress to Tritons, as it's a bit classier (not that I am classy :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ). I guess it's because I don't get the opportunity to get really dressed up at home, that it's nice to make an effort onboard

Robin - I hope you are safely onboard your Cruise ship, I hope you get the chance to check-in and say 'hi'. Have a great week

Have a great day everyone

Mandy :)

:rotfl2: Classy... I too am not! I do know how to behave for a bit and mind my manners! :rotfl2:

This is the dress I'm hoping will fit me! We will see.... :confused3

I'll have to cross my fingers that I can look almost that good in it! :teeth:
