My sister works for Expedia.ca and is at WDW now for the grand opening of 7DMT.
She is going to be one of the first to ride and she said "party in the mine"

Just to clarify so people don't get confused: May 1st/May 2nd are NOT the Grand Opening Dates. They are MEDIA events only. The attraction isn't open to the public, has not done an soft openings, and most likely won't be ready till mid-May.

I am just hoping my luck isn't running out yet because I would really like to have SDMT to be opened when we are there too .

Yes, the new dates are 6/2-8/4, reopening for riders on 8/5.
