7DMT early morning rider swap

Has anyone went to BOG pre opening breakfast and went to ride 7D with someone in their party to short to ride and been able to get the rider pass?

I didn't know if they would hand those out when it is before the opening of the park.. We have 5 of us and one of us is Tiny and unable to ride. While I know it would be possible for three to go and ride and then when they come back to get back into line to switch out adults fairly quickly that morning, we would like to be able to ride a few other things while the lines are short like PP before trying to ride 7D again....

All the rider swap is is a fastpass, and usually that early in the morning fastpasses don't even do anything because the lines are so short. Chances are they'd give you a pass, but I don't know that it would do anything. The other end of it is that fastpasses are not even operating at that time in the morning, and if they don't have fastpass staff, they may not even give them out.

We generally like to grab the rider swap passes "just in case" and if the line is not busy when we are done riding the first time, the other party hops in line standby and waits. Then we use the pass later that day when it's busy. If the pass doesn't have a date on it: score!!!. Use it another day when you're back.

Ok I just wasn't sure if they would hand something like that out that early. We might not necessarily go ride it the second time so we can get onto a couple other rides before the lines get too long? My husband and the kids would go the first time while I hung back with Tiny b/c she isn't tall enough to go.

The rider swap pass is good for any point later in the day, I believe. I'm sure they'll give you one. We used FP+ in combination with rider swap for 7DMT and it was awesome.

We did BOG PPO breakfast twice on our recent trip. One morning, they gave us a rider swap pass. The other morning, they did not. SDMT was opened earlier on the day they did not give us a rider swap pass -- we rode 4 times before rope droppers got there that day. Both days, I rode SDMT first with my big kids, then swapped with my husband and took the toddler over to Peter Pan. The toddler and I were able to ride Peter Pan twice on both days before rope droppers got there. Once rope droppers entered the lines, we would all meet back up for our next ride together as a family.

If you don't want to split up and your kids don't care about riding SDMT over and over again, you should all definitely be able to do both if that's what you want to do.
