Anyone do rope drop for 7DMT this morning? What's the best route?

bump - maybe someone will do this today and can respond...

I was at rope drop yesterday. Walked with the crowd down Main Street. Some people walked through the castle, some walked over the bridge slightly toward the right. I figured all the A&E people would go through the castle, so I took the bridge to the right of it. Definitely take the bridge vs the castle.

I got on through standby with about a 20 min wait. And if the lines already building up..you walk right toward the line by coming over the bridge. If you walk through the castle then you have to go toward the right and walk past all the people in the line.

My friend was 5 back from the rope yesterday. She said it was nuts! By the tine the herd got to the train, they decided to take advantage of everyone going there and went elsewhere.

If it really is this tough at rope drop, it may be a better idea to try to get a 9-10am FP+, ride a few other things at rope drop, and do 7DMT with FP+. Particularly for families than can get a child swap pass and also ride again later.

We will be at MK next Thursday. We have FP+ for 7DMT, but thought we would go straight there at RD so we could ride it twice. Might have to rethink that and ride the other things while everyone else is at 7DMT. But...it is AM EMH, so, that will help crowds all the way around. UGH! What to do???

Thank you! I was thinking over the bridge would be the way to go! Hi! Ho!

It probably would be smart to go to another ride, but I would like to ride it twice while we are there, once with FP+, and once standby.

Oh child swap, how I do miss thee...

 Maybe once we have grandkids we can do the child swap thing again!

I am with you! I really want to ride it twice! :teacher:
