7DMT at rope drop - Strategy?

"Wide Right" got us on the Carsland ride at DL last summer ahead of a huge pack of people so I am wondering if there is a similar strategy to getting back to and on the new 7DMT?

Do they walk the hoard of people back there or are you just set free after entering the turnstiles?
What is the best route at that point?

They are walking everyone all the way to the lands. For 7DMT, do not go through the Castle - take the right path near the rose garden and passed Cosmic Rays to get to the line quicker.

This is what we did last Thursday. Right side of train station. Walked us to the hub. We then took this route which brings you right up to the end of the 7DMT line and avoids the A&E crowds going through the castle. Even though we had plenty of people in front of us on Main Street we were about 50th in line for 7DMT.

Wandered over to A&E about 30 minutes in for EMH and Standby was up to 300 minutes.
