7DMT and Rider Swap

There are 5 of us. 2 "big" kids, hubby, me, and baby. We usually FP 7DMT, but we want to experience the que once at least because we've heard it's fun. Can we ALL go through the regular line (baby too) and then get our RS at the end of that line? Then I will take the baby out and go back and ride later with the RS? Hope this makes sense...
Or I guess if that is not how they do it, how do they do RS when you go through the line?

You won't be able to take baby through the line at all. You have to be tall enough to even enter the line.

You'll get a paper pass at the entrance, then wait outside the ride for your family. Then you can renter using the FP line with your pass and 2 other family members that are tall enough.

yep you will not be able to even take your baby through the line I have heard that right after the fireworks the line is not that bad if the baby can sleep in the stroller and is fine you may want to try the stand by line then
