Hi all!
My family (DH, DD3, DD6) will be doing the 4 day land 3 days on wonder Nov. 17-21. My ?--- Does this include fast passes? I was wondering how they work. I know you don't have to wait in those looong lines but is it only for certain rides etc? What parks? Any suggestions on which rides to use them on? My girls are scared of anything that goes fast (especially those little kid roller coasters!) I don't think my DH & I will have much opportunity to ride anything ourselves. Although I am REALLY looking forward to it's a small world! (never been but Everybody knows that one) When I was 7 my 13 yr old sister went with my Aunt so I heard all about it. :( (sniffle)Looking back, that was really mean of them huh? Thanks for any info. I am planning & over planning. Fun way to make it last longer, gotta get my $$ worth!
Thanks!

Hi There!!!
Glad to see you are planning your next trip! :D
Yes, Fast Passes are only offered for certain rides. Anyone with admission to the park can get one. You use your admission ticket(hopper pass, or whatever you have) and put it into the FP machine. The machine then spits out a ticket with a time frame of when to go back to the ride. At the designated time, you get in a separate line(the FP line) which usually isnt very long at all. We did have one experience at Dinosaur where we still had a 20 minute wait with FP, but most cases were practically walk ons.
Hope this helps somewhat. Have fun planning & have a great trip! :)

Fast passes are free to any park visitor. You get them at the ride/attraction the day you are at that park. The last I knew, it wasn't available at water parks but that may have changed. You simply get a fast pass. Dependiing on how many people have done the same, they schedule you for an hour period later that day. You return, get in the fast pass line and wait considerably less (depending on the crowd). Some that I know of that have fast pass:

Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Station, Big Thunder Mt. Railroad, Splash Mountain...
Epcot - Test Track...
MGM Studios - Rock-n-Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, Little Mermaid, ...
Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safaris, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, ...

This is not a complete list. But...a start! Have a great time.

I see, I didn't realize that. We just went to six flags Great America & they have it set up different, you have to buy a fast pass. We didn't since the lines for the kid rides were short. Thanks for the info!
Yes, Camcolt, I told my husband it is my new hobby!

I don't think my DH & I will have much opportunity to ride anything ourselves.

I wanted to make sure you knew about the "kid swap" program. Our DS 5 only likes the slow and steady stuff. When DH and I want to do a fast ride, we approach a CM first and tell them we want to do a kid swap. They give us a special ticket and then one adult goes on the ride alone, waiting in the regular line. Once DH or I exit the ride, the other parent goes to the fast pass line or the exit area. The CM takes our ticket and the adult enters through the FP or exit, hence bypassing the line.

We used that a lot. There is plenty to keep DS busy while the first parent is standing in line. I recommend feeding the ducks (as long as you don't get caught)
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I was a little disappointed that we wouldn't be able to ride anything. We are just big kids with a lot of responsibilities! I had read a little about the kid swap on another thread but didn't understand what they were talking about. Now I am Really excited! Thanks Again!
