7AM Openings Kaput?

Have been keeping an eye on park hours for our late Dec trip. We will be there up until Christmas eve and were hoping to take advantage of some 7AM opens since we are early risers. I know they can extend the hours up until the day of but even the hours around Thanksgiving look pretty limited. What is going on?! Last year it seemed like 7AM opens were the rule rather than the exception.

I have no real answer for you, but I keep hearing that attendance numbers are down a little compared to where they are usually. For example there were still spots left at the Disney marathons the past week or two when usually they are full by now. I know some believe that families are postponing their trips until all the things open in 2020.

If any of this is true (which I have no real evidence of), then maybe that explains the lack of 7am opens? On they other hand, maybe tomorrow they'll add some

We go every year for Christmas. It is later than usual, but I do think they'll add them. They just added a 7am EMH for 12/24 at Animal Kingdom. As Whitney mentioned, I think it's a weird year. I know for sure that it's our last year for a little while (although, we said that a few years ago...) but it's still going to be pretty crowded.

We went last year and the 7am extra magic hour openings were prevalent the week after Thanksgiving. This year there's nothing. By now it had been announced last year.

My FP window opened up yesterday and I had my pick of times for SDD at 60+3 and FoP at 60+5. Hopefully that means January won’t be too busy this year.

This coming Monday is a 7am opening at AK.

They seem to have added a few 7am openings to AK around that time but it’s 7am openings at MK I’m hoping for.
It’s our first trip over Christmas and new year so I was wondering the same thing.
