Does anyone know (whether they are there right now or not) what time the buses start running for the resorts when parks have EMH starting at 7am like HS does this summer? Trying to plan our trip for next month, and wondering if we will be able to continue taking the bus or if we need to try using Uber to get us to the park early enough.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks so much!

Starting with full disclosure: I don't know the answer to your question. But I'm commenting anyway because I say whatever the real answer is, you need to leave before that time anyway if you're trying to be at the front of rope drop (if you aren't concerned with being at the front of the group, then disregard). Last summer we ubered to AK on an EMH morning to be at the front of the group, and we were. But by the time the busses started arriving with resort guests, it was already crowded and got packed very quickly.

If I were going this summer for SDD in HS, I would be at the gates before 6:00. I feel relatively confident in saying the busses won't have you there that early.

Busses were definitely running by 5:45 at Pop and maybe earlier today for 7 am EMH. We just missed that one and got one at 5:55. I don’t think they were running when I looked at 5:15 Got through security quickly and into gates where they held us awhile. Then moved us up the street a bit more and held us again. At 6:40 they walked us to toy story land and rides were open. We got on first run of AS2. 95% got in SDD and a few went into TSM.

So were they letting people through the tapstiles when you got there? Or what time did they start letting people into the park?

Good point :) We went last August, and didn't have too much trouble getting toward the front of the lines for FOP at AK, with taking the bus between 6:30 and 7 for 8am EMH. We will definitely consider Uber if it doesn't seem like we can get a bus around 5-5:30am for those 7am mornings. Would be nice if we could teleport :teleport: and get there even easier/faster :rotfl2:

When we went at Christmas last year, the parks opened at MK at 7 most days and the earliest we ever got picked up was 6:20 am. :/ We arrived at the bus stop at like 5:50 the first day and had to stand around for a full half hour, that kind of sucked. We were just getting through security when the opening show started, and the second day we missed the opening show all together. And that was when it the show was still outside the park so we for sure wouldn't have gotten inside to see the show in front of the castle.

Is anything else open during EMH besides TSL?

AM EMH attractions at DHS:
  • Muppet*Vision 3D
  • Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
  • Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
  • Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™
  • Alien Swirling Saucers. (TSL)
  • Slinky Dog Dash. (TSL)
