75% off at Hickory Farms + another 15%

Our packages arrived and they were boxed so nicely. My mom and i had so much fun going through them.

We divided up all the stuff with different members of the family. And then tried some of it..we decided that we would take some to disneyland when we go.

Thanks to the original poster!:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting this! We got ours and have been enjoying it all week.

Our pears were not bruised but they did have some of that white mold starting to grow on the bottoms where that little "stem" piece is. We just cut it off and ate them, the are good!! My kids love them!

We are tempted to place another order!:thumbsup2

We received our order yesterday. The fruit arrived completely frozen and some actually had frost on them (it was -21 degrees this morning) but seem to be thawing out ok. We will see how frozen fruit tastes tonight. The remainder of our order was so good, however, that we already made a second order last night! I don't know what is in the sugar-free petite fours, but WOW!. :cool1:

Received my order and the pears were moldy on the bottom near the stems. I called and complained about them and they sent me another box free. The other box of moldy pears was delivered yesterday. For the $8.50 I paid, I will call it a lesson learned. I will not order fruit from them again. I also didn't realize that the cheese was all process cheese, not pure cheese. The dried fruit was good, though.

I just got email that my order was not available and needed to call HF. The rep said they ran out of the chocolate covered pretzel sticks so I could either cancel that part of the order or substitute something else and pay the difference or get a credit.

I just read that someone on here loved the petit fours so I got them instead and even saved $1.xx. I've never had them before so hope they are good!

The petit fours are great I wish I had ordered more, me and my three girls finished the entire box in one night.....they are bite size, so they go quickly, just as quickly as my waist is expanding....

I usually don't browse thru the Budget boards, but did today on a whim. Thanks so much OP!
I plan to order a box to ship to my DN deployed to Iraq , free ship for APO/ FPO addresses. Birthday present that costs less than the military flat rate boxes - SWEET! :thumbsup2

a lot of the prices are even better now! :thumbsup2

and there are plenty of 15% off codes to add in too.

I ordered a big order last when this was first posted, for our DS HS graduation party. I also ordered a small order today, it is even cheaper (what is left) than before! :thumbsup2

I ordered the "Sausage & Cheese Slicer Gift Board" (a nice set including a cheese slicer and cutting board) for $5.25, regular $35.00, another "Block Party Gift Set" for $6.00, regular $40.00, and two blocks of "Parmesan & Herb" Cheese, $1.50, regular $7.59 each! I guess it was $90.18 worth of items for $14.25 (plus S&H of course)! I like the HF quality of meats and cheeses, so I am pleased with our purchases!

The site also took my 15% off automatically (:confused3 must have kept it from before :) )! Shipping was only $7.99 for all four items!

I was pleased with everything from my previous (BIG) order, except for the fruit. My pears had mold, gashes, and spots... 6/10 were not edible. All but one of my apples were fine... the pears were the problem. I decided that HF was not a place I would purchase fruit from again! All of the other items were (what we tried anyway) delicious! :)

I have a nice stash of items put up for DS open house type graduation party, in fact that, coupled with the items from today's order, will be a large chunk of DS party food (it will not be a "full meal" type party... just cheeseballs with crackers, cheese and sausage trays, veggie trays, ham sandwhiches, meatballs, chips, cake, deviled eggs, macaroni salad, italian pasta salad, and soda/bottled water). I was fortunate to get my sausages/cheese/cheeseballs from HF, as well as my ham (already pre-sliced to boot)! :goodvibes

I just put in order #2. The garden vegetable cheese spread stuff is so yummy, of course I paid $5.99 each for 3 of them on my first order. The original source code of 849358 worked for me this time (on the first order it made my shipping double so I ordered without it). If you are not noticing a discount, be sure to look on the top right of the checkout page, I think page 4. In red it will show the discount amount. On the bottom right it will still show the total without the discount. I tried SIZZLE, and sizzle and it said both of those were invalid.

One of my orders came with some moldy cheese. I figured it was not sealed properly.

It was in the large $90 box ($18 with sale).

I called them and they are sending me a whole new box!!!! oh my!

We are leaving for Disney tomorrow so I have told my neighbors who are watching my dogs to keep it as a gift for watching the dogs. We pay them too, but this is great!

Do you all eat this right away or can it be frozen. The meat should be fine but I have never frozen cheese before. We always eat it first.:rotfl2:
If I want to keep these for future events can they be frozen???

The big shipment that we already received had expiration dates for cheeses, cheeseballs, mustards, and meats from June (at the earliest) through October (latest dates, towards end of month) so all of these thankfully will work for DS graduation party! :goodvibes

I have placed all items into the fridge, even though most did not require being placed there until after opening.

I am sure the sausages would be fine frozen, and we often do freeze cheese, however, after thawing we only use it in recipes where it is melted. IMO (past experience) thawed cheese does not thaw nicely enough for a presentation (such as a cheese tray).

I am not sure how far out your future events are but you may be just fine without freezing, as the dates (best used by, not actually expiration) are a ways off! :)

Happy shopping! :rotfl:
