Hi C.Ann, I just read your last post regarding your DH. I imagine not hearing an oxygen machine CAN be quiet. It's quiet here, too. Reading an excellent book and having a quiet New Year. You and yours are in my prayers.
Since it's a Cyber-New Year's party and I don't have to worry about driving my keyboard - I'll take a gin & tonic, double lime, please!
My son-in-law warned me about throwing a big party - said I was "being watched" - and his Mom would be driving by the house off and on..
----------------
Psstt.. Come around back and knock 3 times.. I already disengaged all the "Nanny Cams"..........
Oh - and don't worry about the dog.. I'm sitting here bribing him with all of these Christmas cookies I still have leftover......................
This is the first time that I've been in my DD's house at night - totally alone - and man, is it quiet!! Way TOO quiet.. No oxygen machine churning out air; no humidifier running for my granddaughter; all 4 televisions in the house are off; no music coming from my son-in-law's computer.. I'm not so sure I like this!
