Yes, where we live in South Texas, we get "Winter Texans" from Canada. You can tell them on the golf course-DH has a jacket and long pants on, while they're in shorts and short-sleeved shirts marveling at the "warm" weather.
When we used to swim in the 70 degree temperatures at WDW, the life guards would be sitting. shivering, wearing their jackets shaking their heads about the "crazy northerners"-now we're shivering right along with them. Also, I think kids have a warmer core temperature or something-I always found younger kids would want to swim even when we thought it was too cold.
