sorry about the delay on posting...life and work is getting crazy...but i will make it up to you all and post 2 reviews tonight.....
we were really excited to try this one since dh's brother & mom raved about it...and told us we just had to eat here...dh checked us in for our adr time of 5:35 pm and got seated within 10 mins...while waiting i noticed a few of the people coming in did not appear to follow the dress code...women had on tank tops, flip flops, which i am sure i read was not aloud...apparently the restaurant is relaxing a bit on the code...who knows, but oh well...also while waiting this woman was totally freaking out on her little girl because the little girl left her purse on the monorail...i felt sorry for the girl and other families did too...so anyways on to the food...
our waitress brought out some yummy bread and butter...a little too hard on the outside for me...but it was edible...
i had the sunken treasure tropical drink...yummy!!
here is my choice for dinner...it was the filet mingon, green beans, & potatoes...i didn't care for the potatoes...but everything else was great!!
dh went with the whole maine lobster...he liked it, but said it wasn't worth the $59.00 price tag and 2 TS credits for it...but was glad he tried it...
dh chose the warm valrhona chocolate cake...and loved it...but this boy loves chocolate and you can't go wrong with chocolate...
i on the other hand had the ozark apple cake...i asked our waitress about the strawberry shortcake, but said since today is the 1st day of fall they switched over to the apple cake...so that's what i went for....and omg let me tell you this was by far my favorite dessert of the whole entire trip...i absolutely loved it!!!
we had our cs at earl of sandwich at dtd...i went with the earl's club and a fruit cup...it was huge and filling...dh had the italian and a cookie...half of the tables inside had a reserved sign on them...so there was very limited seating...kinda fustrating, but we managed to find a spot for us...
