It was fun talking to you after Wishes (whatever night that was). Can't wait to here about your dining. I posted the short version of mine without pics.

well hello there...i really enjoyed our talk as well...my dh asked me the other day if i remembered your dis name...and no i didn't, but i'm glad you found me...i will have to go read your report...

On monday we were off to eat at the Mexico pavilion and both of us were looking forward to this dinner...I was scared since I had read so many bad reviews here that I almost changed my ressie...Let me tell ya I am very glad we kept it...the food was excellent and service was great!!

I ordered the Puntas de Filete...it was so good and filling...loved it!! come to think of it i didn't get my rice and beans like the menu said it came with...bummer :(

our cs took us to the electric umbrella for the day and both of us had a really good meal...i ordered the turkey sub, fries, & for dessert the fruit cup...i loved it!! dh had the bacon double cheeseburger, fries and for dessert he had chocolate chip cookie(2)...and like usual he enjoyed it!!

sorry the pics are a little dark i should of used my flash, but didn't want to blind anyone...

sorry about the delay on posting...life and work is getting crazy...but i will make it up to you all and post 2 reviews tonight.....

we were really excited to try this one since dh's brother & mom raved about it...and told us we just had to eat here...dh checked us in for our adr time of 5:35 pm and got seated within 10 mins...while waiting i noticed a few of the people coming in did not appear to follow the dress code...women had on tank tops, flip flops, which i am sure i read was not aloud...apparently the restaurant is relaxing a bit on the code...who knows, but oh well...also while waiting this woman was totally freaking out on her little girl because the little girl left her purse on the monorail...i felt sorry for the girl and other families did too...so anyways on to the food...

our waitress brought out some yummy bread and butter...a little too hard on the outside for me...but it was edible...
DSC01384.jpg

i had the sunken treasure tropical drink...yummy!!
DSC01383.jpg

here is my choice for dinner...it was the filet mingon, green beans, & potatoes...i didn't care for the potatoes...but everything else was great!!
DSC01386.jpg

dh went with the whole maine lobster...he liked it, but said it wasn't worth the $59.00 price tag and 2 TS credits for it...but was glad he tried it...
DSC01385.jpg

dh chose the warm valrhona chocolate cake...and loved it...but this boy loves chocolate and you can't go wrong with chocolate...
DSC01387.jpg

i on the other hand had the ozark apple cake...i asked our waitress about the strawberry shortcake, but said since today is the 1st day of fall they switched over to the apple cake...so that's what i went for....and omg let me tell you this was by far my favorite dessert of the whole entire trip...i absolutely loved it!!!
DSC01388.jpg

we had our cs at earl of sandwich at dtd...i went with the earl's club and a fruit cup...it was huge and filling...dh had the italian and a cookie...half of the tables inside had a reserved sign on them...so there was very limited seating...kinda fustrating, but we managed to find a spot for us...

The next night was Le Cellier and this would only be our 2nd time here...loved it the first time so was looking forward to it this trip as well...so i checked us in about 15 mins before our adr time of 5:45pm and was told they were about 20 mins behind already...so we waited only about 20 mins to get in which put us 5 mins. past our time...no biggie...

DSC01457.jpg

our waiter was great and more so since he brought us the preztel bread, which i cannot get enough of...yum-o!!
DSC01460.jpg

o.k. so since reading on the dis that you could get the chef's favorite which included an appetizer...we only chose this because of the cheese soup and didn't want to pay oop for it...
DSC01461.jpg

we both went with the salt crusted prime rib...dh liked it, but i thought it was too salty on the outside for me...so he ate some of mine as well...can't let it go to waste...(sorry started to eat it)
DSC01462.jpg

and we both had the canadian chocolate moose...it was good...i really liked the antlers...
DSC01463.jpg

o.k. this pertains to food, but not ours...there was a family sitting to the left of us and the mom ordered the n.y. strip...so our waiter brings it out to her and she cuts into it and has the look of disgust on her face...(o.k. just so ya know i wasn't like staring at them only noticed what was happening :rotfl:) so she tells him it wasn't done to her liking...from what i could see it was charred on the outside...non-edible to me...so she asks them to take it back...so they did and bring it back out and she is still not happy about it and said it wasn't done enough for her...fyi this steak was a steak no more the darn thing was burnt to a crisp and now could knock someone if it was thrown at them...all i could do was giggle...:lmao::rotfl2:

our cs credits took us to yakitori...i ended up getting the teriyaki chicken and a cookie...while dh had the tonosama combination and a cookie...we both thought it tasted real good...i especially liked the ginger in it...very good...

so thursday, september 24th, we ate at ohana's...first time here and loved it...we most definitely will be bringing the kids next time...very cool atmosphere...loved the whole fire cooking pit...

our adr was for 7:15 and we waited maybe 6-7 mins...just long enough to get a drink at the bar...

Question about the lobster at Narcoossees... Was it a whole Maine lobster or was it just a whole lobster? This is the first I'm hearing that it was a Maine lobster as opposed a warm water lobster, which IMO is a huge difference...
