Cute-one thing I have always wondered re the child on the shoulders.
What exactly do people expect to happen?
If you are in a crowd waiting for say the fireworks, unless you are in the front the child will not see if they are left on ground level, the child is actually entitled to a view, they have waited and paid to be there too.
To me it is equally unreasonable to expect the adult to hoist the child on their shoulders for the entire wait time, i'm not sure about you but I am not planning on having someone 15kgs on my shoulders for an hour or more.
So I think more to the point the sin is those waiting in the back (who have obviously come later or they would be in front-except where people have pushed in) who are aghast that the rather obvious has happened.
