For those who have done a British Isles cruise, or for anyone familiar with these ports, what do you think of the itinerary? Normally the British Isles cruises are longer. I don't think I remember seeing any cruise line offer a 7 nt. even to compare this to.

We did a British cruise on Princess a few years ago and went to 4 of Disney's ports of call.
Dublin is great ! And easy to do on your own. I suggest seeing Trinity College and the Book of Kelly's. But you must go there early because the lines get very long ! Have lunch or a beer at O'Neils Pub. Dublin Castle is beautiful. The last time we did the Kilmainin (sp?) Gaol (jail) , lots of history, fascinating ! Lots of people toured the Guiness Storehouse ( brewery)
Cork has Blarneys castle. ( our profile picture was taken there ). The Irish country side is amazing !
Liverpool was a lot of fun, highly recommend the Fab4 Tour if you like the Beatles.
Wish we were going to Edinburgh instead of Glasgow. But you can still take an excursion there from Glasgow.
You can spend all day there, walking down the Royal Mile...lots to see, shops, pubs
We just booked this cruise and are excited to go back ! Love the 4 ports. Belfast would have been nice to see the new gigantic Titanic Museum. But all in all a great 7 nt itinerary !

Cobh (pronounced cobb) is where you will dock in Cork. I expect it is about 45 minute bus ride to Blarney Castle. The castle and the grounds are really cool. That said, you can easily spend several hours exploring Cobh. This is the last place that the Titanic docked before heading across the Atlantic. The Titanic Experience is a fun and interactive museum that takes about hour or so to explore. St. Colman's Cathedral is very impressive and dominates the city skyline.

Cork City which is about 30 minutes away is also a neat city to explore and its English Market is a Foodies dream.

I am so excited about this cruise....
Thanks for the info!

I'm excited for this cruise, my husband and I booked it this morning.
I have a question about OBB. My next cruise is in July, when I "rebook" or "reshop" this cruise on my next cruise for the OBB, will I get the opening day price since that's when I booked it or the current sailing price?

We're in as well. Looks like a great cruise. :).

For the rebooking onboard, it's based on the current prices at the time of the rebooking. Sometimes it could be more expensive then, even with the 10% off and OBC!

So jealous of those who can book this cruise, with our daughter starting Grade 10 right when this cruise get going it just wasn't possible!

Thanks, that's what I thought but wanted to double check. I hope the price doesn't raise dramatically and the OBB ends up being more expensive.

Booked this cruise :) Woohoo!! Can't wait. Always wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland! Thought the price was actually reasonable as well which is shocking! Most excited about seeing Cork and going to the Titanic museum there - it is the last place where the titanic picked up passengers before sailing across the ocean. Such a minor thing, but have always been fascinated with Titanic!

You can also do a Canadian cruise and go to the maritime museum in Halifax and see where it "arrived." Very sad, but historically very interesting.

I booked this cruise today and am very excited.I have been to Ireland several times and really enjoy it.

Ditto! :( I was so looking forward to booking it but school starts during this cruise and I also have 1 child starting grade 10. I hope that DCL reconsiders the date for 2019 and puts it back in summer!
