7 night Magic versus 4 night + 3 night Wonder (back to back)

I'm thinking ahead to October 2005 and got curious for pricing.

For a Cat 9 on the 10/15 Eastern Magic the quote is $2889
For a Cat 9 4 day Wonder ($ 2067) + 3 day Wonder ($ 1717) the total is $ 3784. The Wonder would depart 10/16

Wow, what a difference - I thought it might be nice to enjoy 2 days at Castaway and not have to depart the ship between the back-to-back Wonders, but not for $895!

Now, in re-booking onboard, I could get 10% off (provided similar deals exist then as currently) and get two onboard credits versus 1, but I can't see it ever making up the difference in price.

Has anyone ever seen it be "worth it" to do a 3/4 day Wonder versus a 7 day Magic?

Just curious. Dh about fell over when he heard I was thinking Octo 2005! LOL

Two cruises with the same ports...doesn't sound good to me..even if there is two days at castaway cay. I would go for the Magic/Eastern in a heartbeat.

Honestly, I pretty much agree with you but I was thinking that we'd stay on the ship except for Castaway so we'd get the Nassau days as "the ships is ours!" days.
