7 month window

Hi All,

I'm a fairly new DVCer so I thought I would come to you guys for an answer. We currently have ressie's for SSR Jan, 29th thru Feb 3rd 06. I want to change them to VWL if at all possible. I'm looking at a two bedroom. At this time of the year, do reccommend me trying to change them day by day, which I believe I would start doing tomorrow. Or, do you think I can wait until 5 months from end date which would put me at July 4th. And just as a side note do you know if member services is open on July 4th? Can I change these ressies on line?

All reservations are based on the time until the checkout date, so the first day you can call will be 6/30 (for a stay on 1/29- checkout would be on 1/30). I would call on Thursday to reserve the 1/29 date and ask MS how it looks for the remaining dates. If they indicate that there is good availability, you can call to complete the reservation next week - otherwise, call and add a day on Friday. Let them know you will be adding to the reservation so they won't send out the confirmation letter until the dates have been filled. I think they will be closed on July 4, but am not certain.
