I'd go with the deluxe if I were you...You may as well go all out who knows when you'll next get the chance.
You could eat at some really nice romantic signature restaurants that take up two credits...like Yachtman steakhouse.(you could walk to this)..and Narcosses(sp)..or Cali grill for the fireworks.
Throw in some nice sit down breakfasts..Boma...cape May...and your all set.

I'm going with my kids Oct 4-11, we are doing deluxe dining plan. This trip we are doing lunch @ CRT for my dd 8th birthday. We are doing 3 signature meals yachtsman steakhouse, flying fish and the luau at the polynesian. I'm so excited can't make reservations until april but still very excited can't wait.

Yes, if I was doing a trip just my husband and I (please God someday!) I would do that Deluxe plan. Especially for a short trip, not sure I could eat that much for longer than three or four days but then again I probably could! I agree, who knows when this opportunity will present itself again? Have a great time, so glad you got into BWV!

Just FYI:

I was able to book a preferred view studio today for October 3-6 at the BWV. The BC only had Friday and Saturday available. We did go ahead and waitlist.

Looking forward to F&W regardless of where we stay!

We're going Oct. 4-8. We had a reservation at SSR and today called to change it to BCV or BWV. When DH called earlier in the week he was told it looked good to get a studio at either. Today when he called there were no studios for all 5 days. There were days in the middle missing. We were able to get a 1 BR at BCV (our first choice) for the whole time period. We're so excited since it'll be food and wine time and just a short walk to EPCOT!

Since its F&W festival would it be silly to do the dining plan/? My husband mentioned doing deluxe but I just don't know if I want all of those sit down meals....what do you guys think?

DH & i enjoyed the DDP during last year's F&WF (restaurants were packed tho , with crowds of guests who didn't make ADRs begging for any seating). it just felt so much more relaxing....
the DxDP would prob work out great for a 4-5 day trip, as others said, giving you the opportunity to try more signature restaurants.

in the past, you could use snack credits for the F&FW "samples"....hopefully, that'll continue
