OK. I have a technical 7 month window booking question. I HOPE you can follow me here. I'm not good at explaining.
I don't want to hose myself over in the morning. 
This is all in HOPES I can grab a room that looks available today in the morning. if I can't, then calling will be my only option anyway. And I'm working on a split stay right now.
I want to try and book a room at another resort online to be able to get that 1 hour jump on the phone callers in the morning. I'd be booking that room on the same day I already have another booking at my home resort. That's fine as I'm planning on using those points anyway. I planned on calling when the phones open to cancel part of that double booked day and put those points back into play to be added on at the end of my visit when my 7 month window opens elsewhere. And at that point, I wanted to add onto my already existing reservation at the BCV.
Is adding on to an existing reservation at one resort considered just an extended transaction OR a separate one all together requiring a separate 7 month window date?

NOW, what I'm wondering is, if I book the one day online, but plan on adding more days to that when the phones open to release points tied up on the old reservation, will I or won't I be able to book a few more days out because I'm not booking all those days at that non-home resort at one time in the same phone call or in this case, online when I book the one day? Does that makes sense? I'm right at that 7 month cusp where I've got one day booked at the BCV, the second day of our trip didn't have availability so I couldn't wait list it yet and I couldn't access the next 3 days after that second day that were open. ONE stinkin' day is in the way of bliss.
Sure, it'd be just easier to wait until the phones open and do it all then, but it's hairy when they open as you WELL know and if I can book that one day with a little time advantage, I'd like to. Just to get that one day for sure.
