7 Month Window After Christmas Wide Open

I had booked 4 nights at OKW for after our Disney Wonder Christmas Cruise at the 11 month mark. Today was the 7 month window and was pleasantly surprised that the VGF were available for the same four days for a 1 BR. So I cancelled our OKW on line and booked our first stay at VGF. Before I cancelled, I checked other locations just to make sure I could book something again if the VGF quickly disappearred.
I am so excited to stay there. I happened to be in Orlando on business in October and just happened into going to the VGF Grand Opening ceremony. It is a beautiful resort and I can't wait to see it all decked out for Christmas.

Congrats! You will love VGF. It is truly a special property. We stayed post-Christmas this past season. While the VGF itself didn't do a lot of decorating for the holiday, the main GF lobby is one of the most beautifully decorated anywhere on property. We always enjoyed it when walking through to catch the monorail. Enjoy your trip!

Thank you for your post. We have been DVC members since 1996 and we enjoy staying at all the WDW locations. Each location is unique with different endearing features. We will be able to add VGF to our list.

I was pleasantly surprised also when I booked Beach Club for Dec 27th. I had a choice of every DVC resort on WDW property. I switched my SSR ressie right away. It is our fav resort but I've always wanted to try BCV.
