7 month chances for Copper Creek 2 Bedroom Dec?

I know it’s a ways off but trying to figure out if it’s even doable.

Currently have a 1B VGF booked for 4nts first week December. Was thinking of putting in a waitlist (when available) for a 2B Copper Creek ( I know..long shot).
Was wondering how much of a long shot are the chances?

And what would the best way to use the 2 waitlists?
Also we have enough pts that we don’t have to cancel the VGF resv unless the waitlists come thru, if that makes a difference?

Either-
One waitlist for 4nts 2 bedroom dedicated &
other waitlist for 4nts in the 2 bedroom lock off

Or am I better off try for just 2nts at a time both in dedicated 2 bedroom?
2nts 2 Bedroom (1st two nights) and second waitlist
2nts 2 Bedroom (last two nights)

I’d also try stalking (never stalked for December, so don’t know how hard that’ll be?

I’ve been looking online & researching… am seeing that the dedicated 2 bedroom is usually the last to go (of the 2Bedroom) so don’t know if that one is easier?

Any suggestions please?

If is a tough resort to get into at Christmas. But it is our families favorite in December. In 2023 we snagged a dedicated 2-bedroom Christmas week at Cooper Creek. We have stayed in early December as well. I do not walk reservations too much work for me. Need to be online exactly at the 7th month mark. We have had luck with wait list in December but not always. It can be a hike from Bolder Ridge do not write off the Christmas magic at that resort. Our family took our coffee and hot chocolate over to the fireplace and caught up on books we purchased in summer. Christmas week is a resort only stay for us.

I would waitlist both Cooper Creek and Bolder Ridge.
