7 Month booking????

My home resort is BLT and we are looking to book at AKL for Aug 3rd to Aug 9th making the 7 month window Aug 9th. I just check the dates today and I was allowed to book the entire trip? So I did. Is that normal to allow this before the 7 month window?

My understanding is that is it 7 months from the 1st day of your stay and you can book for up to a 7 day stay. That's how it has worked for us in the past.

A few years ago they changed booking from 11/7 months out from checkout day to check in day.
