7 Mile Beach

Hi!
14 of us are boarding the Wonder in 3 weeks and I'm trying to figure out our plan for Grand Cayman.

Can someone tell me about 7 Mile Beach please
I am assuming it's easiest to just take a cab there?
Once there are there amenities? Little restaurants? Chairs and umbrellas?
Should we bring all cash with us?

Are there any beach clubs like in Cozumel?

Short answer - pretty much yes to all of the above.

The beach clubs are a little different because 7 mile is a public beach - I don't believe there is any private ownership of the beach itself. Quite a few hotels and clubs offer packages of beach chairs, pool access, food/drinks.

Best advice I remember about the beach is that it's more rocky /shelly toward the south with the softest sand mid way, if that matters to you.

We have beach cabana reserved at Royal Palms - 4 weeks to sailing.
