7 flights, 6 hotels, 1 cruise ship and a major stuff up...brace yourself UPDATE!

Omg how awesome. Nyc accom booked and cruise docs all in the same week :) you are going to have such a fabulous trip :)

One is 26 yrs old and is planning her first ever trip to the US in December. For months now all I ever hear is her loud nasally voice droning in about her trip. Apparently "not many 26 year olds can say they've paid for their own 6 week trip all across America"...ummm, yes they can lovey, you're not that special! Oooh, and she's staying at Excalibur which is the best hotel in Vegas, and the Anaheim Plaza Hotel and Suites which has an Olympic sized pool and is just across the road from Disneyland!! Haven't the heart to remind her that it will be a bit chilly when she's there. Maybe I'm being a it mean, but jeez, just let me eat my tuna and salad in peace. She doesn't know that I'm going in 20 days(!), don't want to steal her thunder because she is so excited, but for the love of God shut up.

The other one is about my age and has just got an ipad. Yes, it's a lovely ipad and I really do like the pretty paisley cover you have for it and yes, it does have some really cool functions, but please, please let me eat my tuna and salad without watching your gifted 10 year old's project on the Amazon rainforest as my lunchtime entertainment....we work in a school for God's sake, we get enough of that in the classroom.

Ok...enough of crankpants Liz. Maybe I just need to order a chicken nachos from the canteen for lunch and I might be in a better mood.:hippie:

I forgot to mention I got my cruise documents today :dance3:

Congrats! Not too long till you go now :goodvibes

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

People like that crack me up! Be proud of your self but geez your not the only one to ever do that  Plenty of people travel in their twenties & pay their own way!

I'm pretty proud that I paid for my uni degree independently as well as paying for my trip but I know I'm not the only one who has ever done it :rolleyes2 And I'm only 23 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Does she realise how many hotels you can pick from that are walking distance to DL, sounds more like a TA planned her trip rather then her researching it all :lmao: Well good luck in dealing with her chatty for the rest of the year!

You should be very proud of yourself for what you've achieved, I might just casually bring you up in conversation next time the opportunity arises.
I've seen many prac teachers putting in the hours for no pay, I take my hat off to you, good luck with employment in the new year - hope you get full time work. Enjoy your trip:)

Gee she must think she's something else. I am also 26 a full time students have two kids and am travelling to disney! If she shut her trap for more than two minutes you might be able to share some of your experience with her!

Two weeks until I'm on holidays!

My DH is hopeless, I get home from work today and he says " I bought some plants".
Sick of trying to tell him not to spend our money yet :headache:

When we get back from holidays he can spend to his hearts content, but right now hold off :furious:

I'm working tomorrow now, just make that little bit extra :thumbsup2

17 days!

I hope you eventually had your tuna in peace:rotfl2:

So now I'm wondering about character breakfasts at DL.
Last time we did Goofy's kitchen and the Critter country.
Goofy's kitchen was great, the other one the food was grat but the character interaction was hit n miss.
I am tempted though to try Ariel's grotto but am wondering if it'll be too girly? princess:
Any suggestions appreciated also :thumbsup2

Too right:thumbsup2

A little part of me (the evil side:stir:) can't wait to show her my photos of the GCH when we get home....is that nasty??

My family did Ariel's Grotto and it was my DH's personal favourite. His goofy smile in all the photos as he gazed adoringly at each princess is priceless. Sleeping Beauty especially made him smile and blus :rotfl2:

2 weeks tomorrow!

Tradies building a house next door unloading their truck at 6am, Lucky I didn't tell them where to go!
I feel like I haven't slept :headache:

I started clothes sorting yesterday, I think it's official and I have no clothes (plenty of room in my suitcase then)
