7 Days to go dance and not started packing yet!

DW and I are off to London this Sunday then onto the Eurostar on Monday morning to the magic for our Christmas trip and we have not been able to start packing yet.

We still have the decorators in repairing the flood damage to our home, and hopefully the kitchen will be finshed today, tomorrow the passageway and Wednesday the living room.

At least they have finished front bedroom so we can start puting the furniture back in there once the carpet has been cleaned today.

So here is a little 7 days to go dance

Whoo your going the same day as us and we are catching the morning eurostar from ashford on Monday morning, so we are probably going to be on the same train, hope the snow settles down a little bit though as 4 of the Eurostars were cancelled today !!
I am so excited though and have started packing today, lots of warm clothes !!!!

The house is FINISHED!!!

DW has been puting the house back in order today and we will starting packing tomorrow night. Looking at the weather in Paris for next week its going to be cold and wet

I'm keeping a close eye on the Eurostar updates and hoping the Disney train will be OK.

We are on that train too(hopefully), travelling down from Chesterfield/Sheffield on Sunday. I am starting to panic though, as we have no idea how we are getting to the train station. Our local train has no service because of the snow, if we walk off our estate we are hoping we can get a taxi to pick us up on the main roads which have been gritted. Our main road into Sheffield is closed (A57, full of parked lorries) and I am guessing it is more difficult to get to Chesterfield as it is all B roads.
I loved all this snow at the beginning of the week, now my trip is near I am starting to hate it because at the moment it looks doomed.

Not long back from DW's works Christmas Party tonight and we had a great time. It realy put us in the Christmas mood

We are all packed and ready to go
And all the snow here was washed away by the rain this afternoon which means geting to the train station this afternoon will be easier.

Looks like next week with be another cold and snowy week in DLP so plenty of warm cloaths packed.
