Rain Rain GO AWAY. It's supposed to start tonight and continue all weekend. I'm sure I'll be logging a lot of mileage on the DIS boards this weekend. I can't pack yet, I haven't found the summer clothes yet. It hasn't been above 65 yet!!!!!!

By the way, at our deck party, I'll make balloon animals for all of your kids. Hopefully I won't be making them for the entire ship though. Once ya start, it's hard to stop! You have to have a green Mickey head or a button (kidding)

Can't wait to meet on board. Even Rob thought it was great we're going to meet you all. We'll have our green Mickey's on. If we bring everything that we might need, we'll need a steamer trunk.
The balloons sound great!!!! You don't want to spend the whole cruise making balloons? Why not? Ha! Ha!

We are going to have the meet at the bar-near forward (overlook bar or outlook bar? don't have my glasses on so I can't look it up right now.... It has tables and chairs available and it overlooks the pool area from deck 10-- you can also have one of the drinks of the day.... See ya there...-James

Hi fellow cruisers...this is my first time on a message board and first time cruising. Nervous about both and I too am a compulsive planner. Love this board...so much info. DH, DSs 13 & 17 and I are really getting excited. This is a graduation gift to DS 17 who will be off to University of Notre Dame come August. Had to squeeze it in before he turns 18 so he can enjoy the teen stuff. We've been upgraded to room #6504, anyone nearby and anyone cruising with teen boys? They are a little apprehensive. I know they'll make some great friendships. Love to hear from you.

First of all we are going to have the best time fo our lives.
There will be lots of teens on the cruise. If you have any questions, just ask someone will be able to answer them.

I did them through fly for less but they went out of business. Disney switched it to them.
By the way I noticed your weight lose. Congrats I tried but somehow got lost along the way. Maybe by next time. Or maybe I'l just get the surgery. ( I'm thinking about it)
I hope your Docs come Monday. I heard you can still get upgraded, even after you get your docs. That would be even better.

Hi Debbie and Teresa...thanks for the warm welcome. We were a category 11 and supposedly, according to our TA, we're now an 8. Something about this stateroom being a secret category 8 because of a obstructed porthole. This is what my TA said but Disney denies it which she said they would. I've been unable to get any info on this room other than what she tells me. Doesn't really matter.

No docs yet. Isn't it a little early? No way am I anyway near ready physically. Mentally, I'm so there already!!!

Sorry, I'm lost (living up to my name I guess ) ... the DD's have been sick with fevers and bad coughs (better now than in a month!!). What are you guys doing with the green Mickey heads?
No docs yet here either - I am SO anxious! We booked through a local travel agency, so I gues I'll have to wait a few more weeks before I start stalking them!

Thanks Debbie - You should check out the WISH board on here. Lots of great people trying to lose weight like me... some doing weight watchers, atkins, south beach, etc. I found such great support there I would love to get an upgrade too

Hi Linda - Not everyone uses their real names... just depends on how you feel about it. Great news on your upgrade. I'm still holding out for one, but won't hold my breath.

Lostgirls - Sorry your kids aren't feeling well. Tell them they have to be 100% better before the trip.

When I took my Mom on the Wonder we were upgraded from a porthole room to a verandah room (the kind with the metal railing). That was a nice bonus. We found out when the documents arrived.

DH bought us the new Birnbaum's Disney Cruise Line 2005 book at Barnes & Noble today. It has less information than the Passporter book, but the color pictures are really nice.

34 days and counting! Just hope my foot is better by then. I see the Doctor again on Monday.

mommommouse- please tell us what type of documentation was in your package- i am so excited to get mine but will be happy to hear about yours- i too booked through DU so hopefully we will get our docs soon!

oh yeah, guess what i woke up to this am- 3 inches of snow!!! can you believe it- i am so disapointed, we had our spring jackets on just the other day- i refuse to put that heavy winter coat back on

Sounds like a lot of us on deck 6, that's cool. I just hope the boys meet up with some great kids. DS17 went off to Australia and New Zealand last year all alone and met some great guys he keeps in touch with on IM. Where are you and just how cold is it? We're in the midst of a major rainstorm with rivers overflowing their banks. All that water gets us in "Cruise Mode", don't you think?

The docs come in a little suitcase. There is a book for each person. The book has card like pages. One is your boarding pass. Some are for your charge info, so you can just use your key to pay for everything.Also you luggage tags. There is a book for cabin surprises and some other things. It's just makes it more real to have them in your hands.
I've heard of people getting upgraded at check in. So everyboby keep their fingers crossed. We are on deck 6 too.Room #6633. I won't be to disappointed if I don't get upgraded because we'll still have lots of fun. And we're never in the room any way.
It got cold here last night too. It was like 85 yesterday and 65 or 70 today with lots of wind.
Tera, Where do I find the wish board? Is in the DIS?

momeska thanks for the info, i will add to the list....i live in niagara falls, ny- it is 34 degrees and there is now about 6 inches of snow- i can't believe it & am not a happy camper- the snow is really coming down!! only one who is happy is my DH, he works for the city and is really getting a lot of overtime due to this unexpected snow....well, i guess i should be happy too, this is more money for our cruise

Sorry about the snow. That will just make you appreciate the cruise even more.And the more cruise money the better. Maybe since DH worked so much, you can get something special for you on the cruise. After all your the one stuck in the house.
This winter seems to be hanging on alittle too long. NEED TO CRUISE NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Bratray - Sorry to hear about your snow. We had some the other day, but has melted pretty quickly. Colorado is known to have snow into May sometimes I'm like you though, I don't want to have to put my winter coat back on either.

Debbie - Thanks for the information regarding the documents. I'm like Bratray, just knowing what to expect makes me excited
Definitely check out the WISH boards and make sure to read some journals, including mine It's great to read how some people have reached their goals or are getting close to them.
