Unfortuntely, SWA doesn't fly to Denver :guilty: We booked our tickets with United a couple of weeks ago :cool1: :cool1: Hotel and car rental are also done so all we need to do is book our excursions and we're set :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can't believe it's under a 150 days away already. :flower1: :flower1:

Happy Holidays Everyone! I wanted to post to see my countdown clock. I know the time will fly after the holidays!!!

LostGirls - I can't believe it's under 140 days now (we're flying in 2 days early before the cruise). I can't wait!!!!

Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday :earsgirl:

Hi Y'all
Flying in 2 days earlier? Boy, would you mind getting me some disney pins? HeHe
Just kidding. Going to WDW next week for the DVC Christmas get together. It is our first party since joining in 2001. Then to downtown Disney to look at the decorations. I will get some pics and post for all on this thread. We will be going to South Carolina to my DW mom's for the holidays and I am sure I will have internet withdrawal by the time I get back! :charac2: Go team go/ Well see yall later.. James

James - Have a great trip!

Unfortunately, we won't be at WDW the 2 days before the cruise :guilty: We'll be hanging out in Cocoa Beach, counting the minutes until we leave :earboy2: (worked out we'd get a better fare if we flew out Thurs instead of Friday)

lucky you james!! i wish i lived in FL- daughter may end up going to school there- then i will have even more excuses to go to WDW :flower1:

It's been a while since I posted.
I have been lurking for a while seeing what changes there have been since our last cruise. This will be our 3rd cruise second time on the Magic doing the western We are so excited! It will be me DW-39 DH -42 DS -12 and almost all of DH's family. We have 5 cabins booked all on Deck 6. We will be celebrating our 18th anniversary and DH birthday he will be 43 on May 9th!
I have been looking at lots of excursions. We plan on doing Key West on our own, last time we did the trolley, it was fun but now that we know where things are- shopping and the bars we can do that on our own. :cool1:
I hope they change the time back to leaving at 10:00 I would really love to see the sunset celebration last time we missed alot of it because we were at dinner (early seating). We also plan on swimming with the stingrays in Grand Cayman we have not decided whether to do a disney excursion or on our own. We plan on doing the fury sail and snorkel beach party in Cozumel.
and definitely saving some quality time at Carlos and Charlies!!!!
It is a long winter here in Maine but after the holidays we have this great cruise to look forward to it will make the time fly!

Welcome to the group Goofytoo
This is our second trip on the Magic and our 1st on the Western.. My DW and I have second dinner and don't lknow if we are going to do any excursions this time around ( no kids doming this time around) Looking forward to meeting you and yours on board at the DIS meet which we can all plan as we get along in time.. James

Thanks!
We have early seating. Having gone on 2 other cruises it seems as though we were always running for dinner but then again late seating just seems too late.
I guess if it were just us we would have tried late seating this time around.
We are hoping to do eastern next or maybe a RCI out of PR to do southern carribean I think it might go to Aruba. We have loved all 3 three of our Disney cruises.
After the holidays I will be starting to pack
I think I might have a lot in common with Tera :earboy2:

Hi Goofytoo and Welcome!!!

We are also planning on doing the Stingray excursion in Grand Cayman and have heard great things about Capt Marvin. We're also looking into the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach Party. I hear that is suppose to be a lot of fun, especially for kids.

I have a 12 year old DD and we're doing early seating too. It'll be great to meet up with people, especially with things in common (I'll be 38 for the cruise and DH will be 36 :earboy2: )

We'll definitely have to plan some kind of DIS meet on board. This will be our first, so I have no idea how to go about planning something like that. We'll see as we get closer....... :cool1:

Hi all :cool1:
I went to WDW yesterday for the DVC meet/greet and got my Mickey rejuvination.. I even rode Mission space--Very intense :earseek: Here is a pic of all the characters at epcot on the bus!! Woo Hoo! Again have a merry Christmas..

hi
happy holidays!
is anyone thinking of doing capt. marvins? it sounds like a great tour!

AAAASRRRHHHHH pirate:
Sounds like a tasty respite that swimming with the rays!!!!jrp

Bratray - We're planning on doing Capt Marvin's. I think we're just going to do the 2 hour snorkel trip.

Hi guys
Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday!
We can't decide if we want to do disney excursions or venture by our selves
We definitely want to swim/snorkel with the stingrays.
The disney excursion that takes you to Rum point beach and snorkeling with the sting rays sounds fun.
Lat time we did the Island tour and glass bottom boat observatory to see the stingrays But I wished I could have got in that water it was sooooooo Blue!
DH got a nice bonus so we just paid off our cruise so now we just need to wait for the 90 days so we can make the ressies for the shore excursions.

Tera
Have you started to pack yet????

James pirate:
I don't think they allow you to eat them only swim with them :guilty:

Hi Goofytoo - No yet, but soon :smooth: I have started getting together my "emergency" kit and other bathroom stuff (our Rite Aid near us closed and I was able to get stuff on sale). I'm buying new suitcases for my girls (hot pink and lime green) and did buy summer clothes on sale for my girls this past summer (just hope they still fit) I figure by March they'll start having summer stuff out (they are actually starting now, but there is something wrong about buying shorts in December :earboy2: )

There are so many different excursions to choose from, sometimes it's hard to figure out which one works for you. Good luck... :flower:

Happy New Year :cool1: !!!!

I agree something wierd with buying shorts in December
Oh yeah ,and boy do we cold climate women look scary in shorts in December!
Well I should only speak for myself.
Gotta do a little tanning booth before I venture to buy a new bathing suit!
I have to have my formal dress hemmed but I have been picking some clearance stuff up little by little.
I just bought some great LL Bean swim shorts for my DS on clearance in the catalog their quality is awesome they last forever.
only 121 days to go

Who is staying at Ron Jon's on the 5th?
